I bought a small tin of ArtGraf Watercolour Graphite, a product of Portugal, at Binder's in Atlanta a couple weeks back. It's supposed to last and last. I hope so. The tin cost me about $17 USD. Finally got to play with it this afternoon. It's interesting. Looks like water can open it up, though, after it's thoroughly dry. Not a problem, but a valid observation.
I am hoping that it will get me sketching and/or drawing again. I am trying to just simplify the drawing side of my life. I've got dozens and dozens of various pencils and pens. Usually I just can't figure out just what to draw with. My intention is to make it simple and easy. Wish me luck!
I'm getting tired of pens, so far trying out new ones, they all suck. Might stick to the Pilot V5 or a pencil.

Graphite on paper, 18x12.5" I found the photo online, I don't know who she is. This is my first piece done two years after my only high school art class. Next semester, I'll take a proper life drawing class to nail down the anatomy. Naturally, there is some quality loss/differences between the real piece and this photo of it. The hair, however, *is* actually that bad.
