In-process photos documenting the making of three graphite 7" x 9" drawings for the Salon exhibition in Los Angeles
Haven't done much drawing lately. Seeing this on the table reminded me of all the wonderful cameras drawn for EDM challenges, so I decided to try it. Need to work on shading with graphite. That seems to make a big difference.
Graphite and watercolor in my large Moleskine. I took out the yellow cast of the Moleskine paper so the graphite would scan properly. This was a sketch done from a photograph in a travel magazine.

This is a VINTAGE synthetic fabric poncho. It looks like it could be a salon poncho or rain poncho. It has a hood and one front pocket. The fabric is a chic graphite colour (best represented in the detail photos), with an interesting sheen.
Unfortunately there is some damage. The seam where the hood attaches to the body has a couple of holes, but these can be repaired quite easily. Otherwise, the garmen is in good vintage condition.

91cm - Long (Shoulder to Hem)
125cm - Arm span
