I used graphite and charcoal to create a beautiful yet haunting image with a strong contrast between the delicate girl and the speeding train. I purposely left the piece ambiguous, as the viewer is unclear of the girl's exact intentions and fate.

Graphite drawing, 10.25" x 8.5". I wanted to produce a drawing from inception to completion in a short amount of time to procrastinate on a larger colored pencil drawing I have in the works. I spent 3 days on this, working a total of about 36 hours. I'm very happy with the results. It motivates me to want to do more "quicker" drawings in the near future.
Graphite sketches from a single sketchbook, unknown date, but suspect 2009ish.

Ela mostrou aqui: www.flickr.com/photos/edamaria/6218335264/in/photostream/
