Exploring what is new with Google Geo technology at the Google I/O Conference for developers in San Francisco.
This building is being knocked down and I was sorry I hadn't taken a photo of it - so I copied* an image from Google maps - they do a good job :)
*There might be a way of doing this on my iMac desktop - but I can't find out how (one usually copies an image with cmd + click) so I did it on my iPhone - press the "home" and the "on/off" button simultaneously :)

It's a bit too zoomed out, but I wanted to show some scale. Our apartment is the red marker in the bottom right; it and other locations of note are annotated. We had a great location, you could walk anywhere you see here.

Personalizzando e diversificando i marker è possibile creare una interfaccia di frontend che permette di selezionare le categorie da visualizzare sulla mappa.
Tramite backoffice il redattore del sito inserisce l'informazione, seleziona la categoria cui deve appartenere e quindi l'icona personalizzata da utilzzare come marker e la posiziona esattamente sul punto desiderato.
