One of my study sites in Algonquin Park, along the Highway 60 corridor, near the Lake of Two Rivers. It was a cool study site because it used to be an airfield (you can still see the runways, sort of) until the 70's, and now it's growing in. You can see the plantation that boy scouts or whatever have planted... And my study shows that there were only a few white-throated sparrows living there in 1992 but loads in 2005 and 2006... it's growing in to make better habitat.
I guess I should clarify that this was a screen capture from Google Maps (satellite) and I photoshopped it to make it look a bit cooler.

It's a bit too zoomed out, but I wanted to show some scale. Our apartment is the red marker in the bottom right; it and other locations of note are annotated. We had a great location, you could walk anywhere you see here.

Tramite backoffice il redattore del sito inserisce l'informazione, seleziona la categoria cui deve appartenere e quindi l'icona personalizzata da utilzzare come marker e la posiziona esattamente sul punto desiderato.

Google Maps mashup with the CTA rail lines. This is Union Park where the Pitchfork Music Festival will be held in July 2006.
I didn't have any maps of Zürich, so I snapped off some photos of Google maps and carried them around in my (digital) camera. I don't expect it is at all an original idea, but it was sheer genius nevrertheless, and it worked great.

This is the new travel site that I have launched. It is a comprehensive hotel search engine and directory combined with Google Maps.
