Novegro "Spring 2k22"

The Paraje Natural de las Marismas del Odiel is the second most significant wetland reserve in Andalucía after the Parque Nacional de Doñana.

The large estuary and marshland covers 72 sq km of the coast of southern Spain and has been under protective status since 1989.

The meeting of the rivers Tinto and Odiel has created these broad wetlands due to sedimentary processes, this allows for a large concentration of birds such as spoonbills, flamingos, ducks, herons, cranes, black storks and even raptors such as the osprey.

Inside the wetland reserve is the Interpretation center Calatilla, bird lookouts and trails.

Using Google maps and Streetview (the villa's location was pretty rural, so even more impressive that Streetview stretched this far).

"We need to make these sites into assets for the community. Many of these developments are causing real hazards for their neighbors, with fences falling down on sidewalks, loose construction debris that can become deadly in high winds, and unsecured sites that are dangerous for children and an invitation to squatting.

Help the effort to convert local blight to community benefit by providing feedback and tracking the progress of each site. Click on the sites in the map below to leave a comment and update us on the conditions. If you call 311 about an issue, please leave a complaint number in the comment."

Some less painful childhood memories noted.

I haven't been here, but the crew from Google Street View has been. This is Strasburg, ND, birthplace of Lawrence Welk. I was curious where it's located. I won't say "out in the middle of nowhere," but perhaps one might say that you can see nowhere from there. But ... sure enough, Google Maps has street views of Strasburg.

Now, let's see, what should I do next under the heading of Creatively Wasting Time?

I proposed a possible "Canonical Phone Tag" that Google Maps might consider honoring in order to cut down on duplicate listing issues in business directory listings.

At best guess this photo is 3 years old. Can't find info on Citizen's Bank Park groundbreaking, but this was taken shortly after that. According to Lincoln Financial Field info, seats were placed in August of 2002, and grass field in November of 2002. (Who the hell plants grass in November in Philadelphia?!?) My guess is this photo was taken between those dates.

Don't beleive it?? go to maps.google.com and search for "washington, dc". Things that make you go hummmmmmm....
