Last week was of taking photos of the leaves floating down the stream....now they have grown weary of treading water and have submerged .....but they still bring beauty ..... illuminating their golds and reds in the brilliant sunshine.....goodbye my leafy friends....thank you for you buds of spring....your shade and gentle greens of summer..... the brilliance you have given us this Fall .... rest in peace.....

The last of my photos from the Kravica Waterfall and we will go back to Croatia :)
Kravica Waterfall is a large tufa cascade on the Trebižat River, in the karstic heartland of Herzegovina in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The waterfall was formed as a result of tectonic movement and the upheaval of the limestone plateau on which Trebizat, the river that feeds the waterfalls, flows. Its height is about 25 metres and the radius of the lake in the base of the waterfall is 120 metres. Kravica is a popular swimming and picnic area and, during the summer, it is frequently visited by tourists.

Ostatni rzut oka na Wodospady Kravica i będziemy wracać do Chorwacji :)
Wodospady Kravica – grupa wodospadów położona wzdłuż rzeki Trebižat w Bośni i Hercegowinie. Powstały w wyniku ruchu tektonicznego i wstrząsów wapiennego płaskowyżu, po którym płynie Trebizat, rzeka zasilająca wodospady. Rozciągają się na ponad 120 metrach szerokości, a spadek poziomu dochodzi do 25 m. Ze względu na malownicze położenie i krystalicznie czystą wodę Wodospady Kravica są popularnym miejscem kąpieli mieszkańców niedaleko położonego miasta Ljubuški oraz są chętnie odwiedzane przez turystów.
Transall 50+40 LTG 63
Ab Anfang 2018 war das LTG 63 der letzte Transall-Verband der Luftwaffe mit 24 C-160D.
Am 14. Dezember 2021 wurde der Flugbetrieb mit der letzten Landung der Transall 50+36 endgültig eingestellt.
Today (21 December) is officially the first day of Winter - the shortest day and the longest night. Happy Solstice!

Taken at the night before last of 2025 at the market square; beside the illuminated Christmas tree there was still an installation remnant of the meanwhile dismantled Christmas market (blue LED lights on the right hand side). In the background there's the main Lutheran church (Evangelische Stadtkirche) that I thought might look well in Pentax bokeh 😄
2025 is leaving on a very freezing note here, so I only took some quick images before heading home to get warm again ; ))

Hoping that 2023 brings some stability and peace to the world. This photo of a polar bear (Ursus maritimus) taken in Svalbard in May during one of my photographic highlights of the year.
This is Banana Pancake in her prime.
She loved splashing in the water, running ahead on trails, playing fetch, naps and kibble. Most of all, she loved Karin.

The former Eastland Mall in Harper Woods, MI (annexed suburb of Detroit), being demolished to make way for new businesses. Rumour has it that Amazon might be taking over. Whatever the case is, I hope something good comes out of this! Still miss this mall, tho. I’ve spent many seasons here from childhood to college! I’ve got some stories to tell about this place
I took this picture at Tempura 11 years and a lifetime ago. It has been part of my SLife since the day I was rezzed.
I have popped into Tempura every now and again over the years and it's still so beautiful.
