This is my "official protest" of google doing away with the Picnik photo editing program. Not only was Picnik easy to use for a techno-dweeb like me who cannot figure out photoshop, but you could easily spookify your shots. I'll miss all my ghostly friends. Here they are in a field, saying"goodbye". April 17 will be a sad day for Gebodogs and her ghostly buddies!
If you know of another program out there that does what Picnik did, please let me know.
August 2010: Another sad goodbye :( Dizzy outlived her sister by almost a year but old age (she was 17 and a half) caught up with her last week and my mum had to let her go.
Her open and loving purrsonality and buckets of drool will live on in our hearts forever, and she will be greatly missed on both sides of the world.
This is the blouse / camisole that goes by the same name as the collection itself. It uses one of my alltime favorite cotton fabrics, it's just the most beautiful floral thing you can imagine ; )!
Though I love how versatile it is, I think I prefer the style with the blue jeans.

My dearest flickr friends,
The summer finally is ending, so I thought “Why not celebrate the end of summer and the start of autumn with a lovely fashion collection” ; )?
This is “Goodbye Summer”, a cute little fun collection of new boho style pieces and some basics. As always, I try to create fashions that are highly versatile and easy to combine.
The new line is picture intense, so I’d recommend to go to my “Goodbye Summer” album and there you’ll find all new designs. My etsy shop has been updated already!
May your days be sunny and bright and the new season bring us all lots of beautiful memorable moments…
Dearest greetings,
Nina*
huahin. it's hard to say goodbye.
actually they're just friends and they are not related in any way...i just happen to be around... the title is just some imaginary story of the image, but not in real life. they are just friends and nothing more.

Before the transformation of Goslin into the Cousins Center for Science & Innovation, Oglethorpe science students and faculty said goodbye in a most creative way.
Between 1991 and 2008, the number of suicides in people aged 15 years and over in the United Kingdom fell. Despite a sharp increase of 538 from 1997 to 1998, figures continued to fall until 2007. In 2008, the number of suicides increased by 329 from the previous year (5,377) to 5,706.
Saying goodbye. Why's it so sad? Makes us remember the good times we had.
Here on the last night of VMK, many of us say goodbye on the Pirates dock. Me, StrangeSuperBoy, SunWatcher, and LastMagicGirl prepare to say our final goodnight. Strange "won" a bird hat in my Hat Quest.
About to list bunches of dolls and fashions you-know-where. If you are interested, please check out my profile.
from wikipedia:
Kewpie dolls and figurines are based on comic strip-like illustrations by Rose O'Neill that appeared in Ladies' Home Journal in 1909. The small dolls were extremely popular in the early twentieth century. They were first produced in Ohrdruf, a small town in Germany, then famous for its toy manufacturers. They were made out of bisque and then celluloid. In 1949, Effanbee created the first hard plastic versions. Their name, often shortened to "Kewpies", is derived from "cupid"

I bought these albums for the boys as the only choice was between tacky or even tackier. So went for these and created my own coverings for them. But am looking forward to seeing the boys faces tomorrow when I pull them out still in the Hello Kitty box!

This was my first shot for fgr and I find it funny that it's a copy of one of Angela's shots. This is not a good photo, but I did have fun when I chose to play along with FGR.

Goodbye, cruel world
I'm leaving you today
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye
Goodbye, all you people
There's nothing you can say
To make me change my mind
Goodbye

Goodbye Heidelberg is an homage to the Heidelberg Project in Detroit. 39 colourful clocks count down the remaining time of the Project.
Opening reception, November 3rd 5pm
This exhibition looks at the Heidelberg Project, a social art project in Detroit begun by artist Tyree Gupton that, for the past thirty years, has been whimsically and colourfully decorating abandoned houses on Heidelberg St. Internationally renowned and influential worldwide, including to many artists and people living in nearby London, ON, it has recently been announced that the Heidelberg project has reached an end. It will be dismantled over the next two years. The students in VAH2292 will pay homage to the Heidelberg Project through bringing back to life “The Clock House,” which was burned down in late 2013. Each student has contributed a clock to this project, decorated in a style reminiscent of the houses in the project. Through a colourful and playful display, Goodbye Heidelberg comments on the drawing to a close of the Heidelberg Project, and also on the importance of time and time management in the lives of students.
