With the arrival of a pair of new Scania / Irizar i6s coaches in May 2019, D&P Coaches of Farnborough have said goodbye to Scania K360IB4 / Irizar i6 C53FT pair YN15EHW and YN15EHY. Both were seen at the depot in April/May 2019.

Oooooooo ooo ooo ooooh

Did you see the frightened ones

Did you hear the falling bombs

Did you ever wonder

Why we had to run for shelter

When the promise of a brave new world

Unfurled beneath a clear blue sky

Oooooooo ooo ooooo oooh

Did you see the frightened ones

Did you hear the falling bombs

The flames are all long gone

But the pain lingers on

Goodbye blue sky

Goodbye blue sky

Goodbye

Goodbye

Grey and snow all day, 37cm has fallen last night and the snow continued this day. But, as we made a hike down to the little village of Falera, suddenly the sun broke through at the end of the afternoon and showed us this breathtaking view in the most beautifull light.

Goodbye for now, Laax...I will surely return here!

The UK commercial aviation industry has seen some well known airlines collapse in recent years, and sadly has seen another widely known carrier facing the same fate, with Flybe becoming the most recent to enter administration on 5th March 2020.

Generally, the aviation industry is currently in a slump as demand has plummeted owing to the Covid-19 coronavirus... Whilst the coronavirus has been partly blamed for the demise of Flybe, the carrier had been struggling for a number of years, only receiving a bail-out at the start of 2020 to keep the carrier afloat.

Only a year ago, Flybe became part of Connect Airways, a consortium comprising of Virgin Atlantic and Stobart Air alongside Flybe to create a much larger regional carrier to compete against British Airways and the established low-cost carriers, namely EasyJet. The plan was for Flybe to rebrand as Virgin Connect.

The closure of Flybe after the carrier entered administration ends 40 years of service of what was originally known as Jersey European, the carrier later expanding after acquiring BA Connect in 2007. Since the closure; Scottish carrier, Loganair have announced a raft of new domestic flights to replace routes left empty by Flybe.

Goodbye Flybe; having travelled with the carrier in 2016 to Jersey, the carrier was well known for its good customer service and friendly atmosphere... They will be missed!

Previously, Flybe operated 25 Embraer E-Jets, 11 were Embraer E175s and 14 were Embraer E195s.

Foxtrot Bravo Juliet Kilo was one of 11 Embraer E175s operated by Flybe, delivered new to the carrier on 19th December 2013 and she is powered by 2 General Electric CF34-8E5A1 engines. Following the collapse of Flybe, she is currently in storage at Manchester.

Did it ever pain me to toss this marvelous skull I got at Chichen Itza, but apparently it spent two years in storage getting eaten by termites. Mexican termites. Goodbye old pal.

On Saturday 11th July, Plantsbrook School opened its doors to the public for an event celebrating the school building's rich past and its exciting future, where the school building will be demolished with an all-new school being gradually built in its place. Being a former pupil as well as a photographer/journalist sent to cover the event, I set about diligently capturing as much of the school on camera as possible. It's astounding to think that by 2017, everything in these photographs will be gone...

Goodbye cruel world I' m leaving you tonight

Now that everyone is back at work after spending the holidays with their loved ones they are now also back on the roads at 5pm making my commute an hour of bumper-to-bumper hell!

Today we said goodbye to our Best Boy, the Dog who Chose Us. He used his soulful eyes to make his way from our front porch to the garage, then into our house and from there he danced and pranced his way into our hearts. He was the ultimate friend – he was Chinook’s playmate, Zephyr’s companion, Lani’s guide, and “grandpa” for Gracie and Koko. He was a faithful companion to us humans, happily following me around the yard as I gardened, always trailing along to be in the same room as one of us (preferably both), wanting nothing more than to be in the company of the humans he loved, and always watching with his big adoring eyes.

I didn’t want him. We had two dogs; I didn’t want three. He was young and untrained, a PITA. He ate the drywall in our garage, he dug up my newly-planted irises, he tore open boxes that had been delivered to the house and, depending on the contents, either ate them or distributed them around the yard. He harassed Chinook. He was big and he was awkward and he demanded too much of me. I wanted him to go away. But in the end, I agreed to keep him (much to Tom’s relief as he had already decided). And over the years he demonstrated his gratitude in ways I could not have imagined. I can’t even begin to describe in this post about Buzz and the depth he brought to my life.

Such a dancer he was. Every mealtime was greeted with vocal joy, woo woo wooing, head shaking, and dancing to show us where the food was stored in case we had forgotten. Or when called from across the yard, he would dance his way to us, talking the whole way. He was our dancing dog and will remain a dancer in my memory.

Everybody loved Buzz. He was so good-natured and easy-going, that even the most dog-unaccustomed people liked him. When small children visited, he was at his most gentle, letting them pull and push and prod while he just lay quietly. He played with visiting dogs, making them feel comfortable in our home.

Who would ever have guessed that he would become my photographic muse, my irreplaceable model, willing to try anything if it meant he would make me happy. We had so many adventures together – from ice fishing to flying a kite to playing piano. He cooperated with every hare-brained idea and he always knew the perfect expression to make the photo right. Three years of adventure, all made perfect by Buzz.

Perfect. Buzz’s dear friend, Peggy, called him perfect. And he was.

Fly free, Buzz Buddy. Find Chinook and Zephyr. Bring them all the deer legs and frozen turkeys stolen from someone’s garage that you can find. Find Lani, and show her how handsome you are. And never forget that you are our Best Boy dog.

Let's say goodbye for now

And go our separate ways

It hurts down to my soul

(Watching us go)

It will hurt more if we stay

My family lost one of the sweetest dogs ever last night. She lived a long 15 years of life, and we were best friends. We were fortunate to enjoy 11 of those years after rescuing her. She will be missed terribly. Sad day.

It's (surprisingly) still chilly around here, but I know this soon will come to an end. Goodbye, cute PJ pants and sweatshirts! I already miss you.

I'm becoming increasingly discouraged with my photography, and I've decided to take a break from pictures.

I'll still be viewing, favoriting, and commenting, but as for now... goodbye.

Here's an ad we developed for Veet, the hair removal brand... A parting message for George W Bush in the Sydney Daily Telegraph today.

i've gotten into a habit of taking a photo of my last meal when i'm away somewhere on a trip - usually to finish a roll and get it out of the camera before going through security! the photos are always a nice reminder of my state of mind at the end of the trip (if it's vacation i don't want to leave, if it's a work trip i'm usually more than happy to head home).

So, I decided to do a goodbye photo of Lauren, because she got sent home.. :(

But, she made it to top 4!! Which I am very proud of! ;D

Everyone did great in the compition! She will be doing some stuff soon. :P

Had to say goodbye to Lizzie today. We got her from a rescue centre when she was about 8 and we had her til she was about 17, but time caught up with her, her little body started to close down, we had to let her go, we had to say good bye, bye bye Lizzie.

The last goodbye - I will miss you mom.

You are the most beautiful person I've ever met. I am sure wherever you had to go, it will be good for you and I'll meet you one day again! It hurts very much, very hard to lose someone like you. Love you forever!

The Existence Of Love

I had thought that your death

was a waste and destruction,

A pain of grief hardly to be endured.

I am only beginning to learn

That your life was a gift, a growing

And a loving left with me.

The desperation of death

Destroyed the existence of love,

But the fact of death

Cannot destroy what has been given.

I am learning to look at your life again

Instead of your death and your departing.

The nest is now empty! They have flown away...all on their own. I'll miss them.

Say Goodbye!

I never usually post these kinds of photos here, but I need an outlet. Two nights ago, my boyfriend of three years, Michael Britten, passed away very suddenly following a pulmonary embolism after knee surgery. He was 32.

To say I am I am in shock would be an understatement. I'm feeling utterly empty, scarred and lost. Healing will be slow. I don't know what to do going forward or how exactly to cope. I wasn't always vocal about it, but I loved him to the moon and back. I'm sure he knew. He didn't share my interest in trains, but he liked to travel, and accompanied me on several railfanning trips, and just about everywhere else... we enjoyed so much together over those three years that felt like half a lifetime... He will be missed intensely. Goodbye to the warmest, kindest, most genuinely loving person I've ever known. You will be missed intensely.

Waving goodbye to one of my best bike's yet.

Had a good 100miles out of her and got the loving restoration it deserved. Kept her patina and fresh tyres and tape.

:-* Goodbye my love

Tạm biệt chàng trai luôn chỉ có một avartar Chansung ngày nào

Tạm biệt

Câu truyện của hiện tại =)) Just wanna love myself :))

Happy New Year everyone!

To friends and followers,

I have finally decided to let my PRO account lapse.

I hung on as long as I could but now that my rates are more than double for this service that provides very little value for what I will pay for more, I'll be letting it lapse.

This will likely mean lots of pictures will disappear when that happens in a few weeks. I will try to cull as much as I can and keep those recipes, techniques, and others that were of interest to people. The rest will be removed from here.

I thank all my followers and fans that have shared or followed my journey as a photographer in the digital age. Returning to photography in digital form in 2002 was a big step from being a traditional film photographer, but as time has passed, sharing knowledge and information about photography, colour theory, processes, and even returning back to traditional film has been an enjoyable journey.

For those who are still interested in following me, or keeping up with what’s going on, please visit my official website: www.terrancelam.com

As time permits, it will go through a bit of an evolution and the entire 5000+ images that I’ve shared on flickr will be preserved there in a smugmug library (yes I know, they own flickr, but at least I’m paying for something of substance).

If you’re interested in contacting me, this flickr account will remain active and you can still contact me. But please be aware that I will try to answer back as quick as possible.

Sadly to flickr, I’m disappointed that the service has run it’s course. The countless times to reinvent has failed to give it’s ownership the satisfaction of a service that is sustainable. Once a great place for sharing information has turned mostly into dumping ground.

Take care everyone and keep on capturing images.

One final shot from the Columbia River Gorge this fall. This was taken just off the historic highway, a little west of the tunnel at Oneonta Creek. I'm sad to say goodbye to fall. I like the brilliant colors and I'm not a fan of the cold wet days of winter. Spring, I'm looking forward to your arrival!
