Historic Village of Shirakawa-gō ( a UNESCO World Heritage Site)
Shirakawa-go (Shirakawa Village) is a Japanese mountain settlement in what was once considered a wild and unexplored region. Because of the area’s natural environment, with high mountains and heavy snowfall, interaction with neighboring regions was limited. However, this also created the conditions for the development of unique cultural practices and lifestyles. Now registered as a World Cultural Heritage site.
No Dvořák or William Arms Fisher or New World here, but he is surely going home (with bucket of precious water)...
GOING, GOING, GONE Though these scenes of colorful decomposition will soon be gone with the flush of spring rains and flash floods, I'm going down to the canyons everyday this week to get my fill and see what new delights arise.
Just playing again, haven't taken any pictures worth a dang ... & I really really miss Disneyland! Would go back today right this minute if I could! =)

I waited so long for the Honey Garlic to flower this year, and when it did, by the time I got around to photographing it the flowers were already starting their upwards climb to become the little Cinderella Castle seed-heads you see towards the top of this image. When these first flower, all of the flowers hang downwards like bells, then through the season they gradually dry and point upwards, you can then cut them, dry them off properly and have them indoors as decoration through the winter.
I’d love someone to do a time-lapse video of them going through this process because it is fascinating to watch it happen gradually 🌸

Things don't always go as we plan ! Rode that young mare today, she's in training and the start of the seance was really good, until those two girls in the paddock next to the arena decided to play around ! The young mustang saw them and decided she'll play with them, so she started to buck and forget I was there, it was kinda fun but it was hard to stay on her ! Did I fall or did I stayed on ? I'll let you guess !

Probably won't have much time for another shot today. Had to take my yougest to the doctor this morning. This is a shot on my way to work afterwards. It's a gloomy and gray day with a bit of rain. The light had just turned green when I snapped this.
