Da hubby walkin' ahead along the Goblin forest pathway. Early morning, we were fortunate enough to have it mostly to ourselves.
Like an orc chasing a cooked turkey?

Near, Hanksville, Utah, USA, there is an odd, otherworldly landscape. The area is Goblin Valley State Park. I finally got a campsite reservation and visited in early June. It was a great experience and a quiet, clean, remote but safe location. My camper had a blowout on the trip home, though, so she’s in the shop. Again.

These sandstone formations are just a few more of the goblins you can find at Goblin Valley State Park. This photo shows more detail of their erosion and includes one of the headless goblins with his poor “head” on the ground next to him. (sad face)
I knocked this out last night after learning about a fun contest going on at Classic Castle.
Follow me:
Ben Venue - the Mountain of the Goblins - Trossachs, Scotland. The old legends say that Goblins live in caves on the mountain. The steep corries and caves on the mountain side are named Coire nan Uriskan (the caves of the Goblins) and the Faerie Queen has her palace under a nearby hill.
While in Utah I attempted to visit Goblin Valley, unfortunately it's a state park, and state parks only take cash...you guessed it, I didn't have any cash. So I made the best of it by camping near the park which was surrounded by beautiful landscapes and saw this scene in the morning after thunderstorms pounded the car all night. This is a focus stack of 3 images for sharpness
Gifford is a village in the parish of Yester in East Lothian, Scotland. It lies approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) south of Haddington and 25 miles (40 km) east of Edinburgh.
It groups around the Colstoun Water (locally called Gifford Water) at the junction of the B6369 and B6355 surrounded by rural farmland.
The TK-110 Goblin is a tool used for surgical strikes by the Commonwealth planetary ground forces. Mostly for taking out strategical targets in the battlefield.
Its menacing looks and incredibly durable armor also makes it efficient for crowd control in colonies plagued by civil unrest.
It is capable of autonomous operation but is usually maneuvered by single pilot with a neurological interface. The pilot can "feel" hits and targeting lasers on the tank's hull and can almost immediately take evasive actions. The TK-110 is equipped with two dual high yield cesium-bismuth-germanite laser cannons that can fire both pulse and phase beams. A pulse beam is mostly sufficient to take out any target, and the phase beam is only used sparsely because it quickly drains the battery.

In december last year I ordered some dark green parts and among them some dino bodies because I had an idea how to use them. When I got them I started trying out other ideas and ended up with this mech design. I might return to my original idea at some other time. I know it isn't March yet, but I had to post it for a contest. Hope you like it!
More fun stuff from the land of Goblins. One of natures interesting landscapes, but almost commonplace in the wonderful land of Utah.
