Goblin King

Who would be so bold as to come armed into my kingdom?

Having fun in Goblin valley Utah.

Gifford is a village in the parish of Yester in East Lothian, Scotland. It lies approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) south of Haddington and 25 miles (40 km) east of Edinburgh.

It groups around the Colstoun Water (locally called Gifford Water) at the junction of the B6369 and B6355 surrounded by rural farmland.

Orc or Goblin, you decide

The TK-110 Goblin is a tool used for surgical strikes by the Commonwealth planetary ground forces. Mostly for taking out strategical targets in the battlefield.

Its menacing looks and incredibly durable armor also makes it efficient for crowd control in colonies plagued by civil unrest.

It is capable of autonomous operation but is usually maneuvered by single pilot with a neurological interface. The pilot can "feel" hits and targeting lasers on the tank's hull and can almost immediately take evasive actions. The TK-110 is equipped with two dual high yield cesium-bismuth-germanite laser cannons that can fire both pulse and phase beams. A pulse beam is mostly sufficient to take out any target, and the phase beam is only used sparsely because it quickly drains the battery.

In december last year I ordered some dark green parts and among them some dino bodies because I had an idea how to use them. When I got them I started trying out other ideas and ended up with this mech design. I might return to my original idea at some other time. I know it isn't March yet, but I had to post it for a contest. Hope you like it!

More fun stuff from the land of Goblins. One of natures interesting landscapes, but almost commonplace in the wonderful land of Utah.

Scream loudly and carry a huge battleaxe! I gave myself the challenge of staying "purist" for the figure builds, mostly because I own no third party stuffs.

Built for CCCXI - Fantasy Castle Figure category.

GOBLIN VALLEY SP UTAH

"A sad tale's best for Winter.

I have one of sprites and goblins!" ~William Shakespeare

Happy Halloween everyone...and watch out for ghost, spooks, trolls, monsters, and especially little goblins tonight!!

Yet another design for my military faction devoted to drones and cyberpunk. This hardsuit is a bit larger than my usual medium ones. And one of the toughest, that's for sure! It fits one full minifig and has one of the most complicated opening mechanisms I made. I'm not sure why I made such a huge arms for it, but I guess it really looks like a goblin now, a bit ugly, a bit grotesque... And all green!

These”goblins” (rock columns) are pretty unstable. That being the case I took a pass on exploring further. Goblin Valley State Park is near Hanksville, Utah.

Goblin Valley State Park, Utah (2005)

The "Valley of The Goblins" in Utah's Goblin Valley State Park, is about as strange a landscape as you'll find anywhere. It's basically an enormous field of monotone stone mushrooms. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of these shroom-like, phallic formations. If there is one place that I have been that looks like it must be another planet, this is it. I think it's hard to capture the place with a picture - this is the best I can do.

Top Row: Green Goblin (Lego Marvel Superheros Video Game Versin), Green Goblin (Movie Version).

Bottom Row: Hob-Goblin, New/Black Goblin, Green Goblin (Classic), Jack O'Lantern.

The Marvel Superheroes Version is still a big WIP, Should I get some paint stuff I might try to paint the head-gear, but I'm not good at painting so I doubt it'll turn out good :/ Also the glider is based of the Video Game so if anyone try's to get credit, foregt it! Official Lego version, not for Trade/Sale. Hob-Goblin was jsut an idea and I think it turned out pretty good. I changed my Black/New Goblin a bit when I found this face and gave him the and I think it looks way better now. Not much to say about the classic version really, credit for face goes to Steelex709 and legs to Skatersponge. I know Jack O'Lantern isn't really a 'Goblin' but I still added him cus I think he looks kinda cool, He's based of his appearence from Civil War and I think he turned out alright.

Tell me what you guys think of them!

Comments and Favs appreciated :)

Gobguz 'the Shiny', most feared of the Goblin Warlords in all of Middle Zealand (at least in his mind) surveyed the battlefield from his vantage point at the top of the hill.

With his troops amassed below him he felt confident that they would definitely win the battle this time. Or at least cause the humans to think twice before trying to claim Goblin tribal lands again. Looking to his left and right, he nodded with satisfaction at the group of chariots around him. It had cost him a personal fortune to get these made and privately he often wondered if he was doing the right thing. Neither the chariots nor the hounds pulling them had come cheap.

Now, however, on the brink of battle, he knew without doubt that they were going to be worth every gold shell he had to paid."

"So, are the wolves ready, Catsnot?" he asked his driver.

"Yes Boss," was the cautious reply, "but..."

"BUT?!" Gobguz barked.

"...well, its just that Gazgob the Wizard said that we should, you know, kinda wait with the rest of the lads here on the hill like... Until the humans come closer to us... Until they start marching up the hill."

"Bah..." the Warlord spat, "that meddling mess of mumbo jumbo has no idea about proper fighting. He spends all his time sat on that big spider of his, away from the action. No, Catsnot... we're not waiting for my brother. Never have, never will. We're going... now..."

"Now?"

"Yeah, Now... It's what our big ugly cousins do... You don't see Ugglug and his armoured orcs sit around on their boars picking their noses do you? No... and nor will we. So move!"

A quick dig into Catsnot's ribs was all that was needed to get his chariot rolling slowly down the hill. The squeak of wheels and chorus of menacing howls around him signalled that the rest of his lads were already getting the rest of the chariots moving.

Gobguz smiled. It was going to turn out nice again.

Goblin Valley, UT at sunset

I affectionately call the interesting rocks behind Fire Wave in Valley of Fire State Park “Goblin Rocks” because of their unique appearance; they almost appear to be a group of goblins huddled together giggling in a goblin laugh. Just after sunset, as we were leaving to hike back to the car, they briefly were lit up by the setting sun, and accentuated by the leading lines of the sandstone in the foreground.

In Goblin Valley State Park in Utah, the earliest red shifted light just peeks over the eastern horizon to gently paint the otherworldly towers of sandstone.

Hey everyone! Here's a build from about four months ago made for a MOC-off between me, Roanoke Handybuck and Mountain Hobbit (check them out!). The other builds should be posted soon in the next day or two, so be looking for those.

I tried to do a bit different goblin town than I had seen before. So I wanted a two part build with a bridge connecting them, rather than just a rock wall with wood on it. Let me know what you think of it!

As I said before, check out Mountain Hobbit and Roanoke Handybuck!

To God be all the glory,

Carter

This is one of the strangest and unbelievable places I have ever visited. A landscape that looks like a scene from a sci-fi movie. Amazing.

With the transfer of Class 172/0s to the Midlands partially underway, London Overground no. 172003 stands on the blocks between duties at Gospel Oak P3, beneath the newly commissioned OLE.

Delays to the electrification programme, compounded with software issues on the new 4-car Class 710s has meant that TfL have less time to ready the 172/0s for TfWM, but soon DMUs on this orbital route wil be but a mere memory.
