"Shakespeare's" Globe. Or rather a reconstruction of it, the remains of the original are under a nearby tower block.
The Babson World Globe, originally dedicated in 1955, refurbished and rededicated on October 2, 1993. It was for many years the largest rotating globe in the world and the second-largest one ever built (28 feet in diameter, weighing 25 tons).
The orginal Babson Globe was constructed of panels with enameled surface for the land & water details. The panels eventually began rusting off. When the globe was rebuilt, DeLorme provided vinyl (much lighter) panels for the visual details.
This globe stands in front of Coleman Hall which once housed the Great Relief Map - a 65-foot plaster of Paris model of the lower 48 states which accurately matched the curvature of the earth3-D. The map was removed in 1998 to allow for the conversion of the building into residences for students.

Shakespeare's Globe is a reconstruction of the Globe Theatre, an Elizabethan playhouse in the London Borough of Southwark, on the south bank of the River Thames that was originally built in 1599, destroyed by fire in 1613, rebuilt in 1614, and then demolished in 1644. The modern reconstruction is an academic approximation based on available evidence of the 1599 and 1614 buildings. It was founded by the actor and director Sam Wanamaker and built about 230 metres (750 ft) from the site of the original theatre and opened to the public in 1997, with a production of Henry V. The site also includes the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, an indoor theatre which opened in January 2014. This is a smaller, candle-lit space based on the indoor playhouses of Jacobean London. [ Wikipedia]

c1910 postcard view of Franklin Street in Delphi, Indiana. This view was looking west from the east corner of the intersection at Washington Street. The Carroll County Courthouse Square was just outside this view on the left. A few business signs are readable in this view.
The sign on the building east of the alley advertised THE GLOBE [?] CLOTHING HOUSE. The 1912 Sanborn™ fire insurance map set for Delphi shows the west half of this building vacant and the east half occupied by a jewelry business. The awnings on the two buildings in the center of this view advertised THE NEW YORK STORE. The store occupied the main floor of the second and third buildings west of Washington Street. The map set shows this as a dry goods and a boots and shoes business. The map set shows the west half of the building on the corner vacant and a grocery on the corner. The awning on the front of the building and the sign on the side advertised the M. CLIFFORD CORNER GROCERY. The sign also advertised ROSE’S ROLLED RYE, CROWN JEWEL FLOUR AND THE J. M. BOUR’S COFFEES. This building is still standing today.

Museum of Art in Balboa Park. The zoo is building an employee parking
garage in the canyon next to it, so the look of the area will probably
change.
Cool Globes debuted in Chicago with a June 1, 2007 grand opening celebration attended by more than 500 people, including artists, sponsors, business and civic leaders, and children. This public event featured a news conference with Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley, the unveiling of eight globes, refreshments and live entertainment. Cool Globes' educational partner, the Field Museum, also hosted more than 230 CPS students who learned about climate change before attending the event. The globes were displayed along Chicago's lakefront, from the Museum Campus to Navy Pier, from June 1 to September 30, 2007.
Cool Globes was launched in Chicago because of the City's leadership and dedication to promoting environmentally sound policies. Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley's goal is to make his city the greenest in the nation through the promotion of environmental programs and practices, including a bike initiative, adding hybrid buses to the city's mass transit system, and building "green" libraries, public schools and police stations. Mayor Daley served as honorary co-chair of the Chicago Cool Globes project.

Rebuilt replica of William Shakespeare's Elizabethan theater. The Globe was erected by Shakespeare's theater company, Lord Chamberlain's Men in 1599. It burned in 1613 during a misfiring of a cannon during the performance of King Henry VIII and was rebuilt the following year. The theater was finally closed during in 1642 by the Puritans, and torn down two years later. "Shakespeare's Globe" was built in 1997, after the City of London approved of the first thatched building in the city since the Great Fire.

This is the Globentorget, Erickson Globe, the world's largest spherical building. It plays host to all sorts of events and is quite a sight to see. It stands out from the skyline and is visible for many miles around. You can, if you choose, ride 1 of 2 spheres to the top of the Globe for a breathtaking view of Stockholm and the surrounding area.
