A BC Rail C40-8M is the lead unit on BNSF train H-BRCKCK1-14A tied down on Main Track 1 of the NS Kansas City District-BNSF Brookfield Sub at Block 224 by 10th St. while NS train D70 with an Ex-BN SD60M on the point holds on Main Track 2 while waiting to be called down to the signal by the BNSF Ustick Disptatcher.
The H-BRCKCK1-14A arrived here at Block 224 not too long after 0600 after making an overnight run across the BNSF Brookfield Sub. The crew died here at 1230, and the train was never given a new crew until around midnight.
NS train D70 got here around 1400, and it wasn't around 1700 that the BNSF Ustick Dispatcher gave them permission to come down to the signal and head across the Hannibal Bridge. D70 is bringing autoracks across town from NS's Voltz Yard near Birmingham, MO to BNSF's Argentine Yard in Kansas City, KS, and it's using power off the BNSF transfer to NS's Avondale Yard from the previous night. 9/15/17.

Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

Santa Maria sopra Minerva is one of the major churches of the Order of Preachers (also known as the Dominicans) in Rome, Italy. The church's name derives from the fact that the first Christian church structure on the site was built directly over (Italian: sopra) the ruins or foundations of a temple dedicated to the Egyptian goddess Isis, which had been erroneously ascribed to the Greco-Roman goddess Minerva (possibly due to interpretatio romana).
The church is located in Piazza della Minerva one block east the Pantheon in the Pigna rione of Rome within the ancient district known as the Campus Martius. The present church and disposition of surrounding structures is visible in a detail from the Nolli Map of 1748.
While many other medieval churches in Rome have been given Baroque makeovers that cover Gothic structures, the Minerva is the only extant example of original Gothic architecture church building in Rome. Behind a restrained Renaissance style façade the Gothic interior features arched vaulting that was painted blue with gilded stars and trimmed with brilliant red ribbing in a 19th-century Neo-Gothic restoration.
The church and adjoining convent served at various times throughout its history as the Dominican Order's headquarters. Today the headquarters have been re-established in their original location at the Roman convent of Santa Sabina. The titulus of Sanctae Mariae supra Minervam was conferred upon Cardinal António Marto, on 28 June 2018.
In Roman times there were three temples in what is now the area surrounding the basilica and former convent buildings: the Minervium, built by Gnaeus Pompey in honour of the goddess Minerva about 50 BC, referred to as Delubrum Minervae; the Iseum dedicated to Isis, and the Serapeum dedicated to Serapis. Details of the temple to Minerva are not known but recent investigations indicate that a small round Minervium once stood a little further to the east on the Piazza of the Collegio Romano. In 1665 an Egyptian obelisk was found, buried in the garden of the Dominican cloister adjacent to the church. Several other small obelisks were found at different times near the church, known as the Obelisci Isei Campensis, which were probably brought to Rome during the 1st century and grouped in pairs, with others, at the entrances of the temple of Isis. There are other Roman survivals in the crypt.
The ruined temple is likely to have lasted until the reign of Pope Zachary (741-752), who finally Christianized the site, offering it to Basilian nuns from Constantinople who maintained an oratorium there dedicated to the "Virgin of Minervum". The structure he commissioned has disappeared.
In 1255 Pope Alexander IV established a community of converted women on the site. A decade later this community was transferred to the Roman Church of San Pancrazio thereby allowing the Dominicans to establish a convent of friars and a studium conventuale there. The Friars were on site beginning in 1266 but took official possession of the Church in 1275. Aldobrandino Cavalcanti (1279), vicarius Urbis or vicar for Pope Gregory X, and an associate of Thomas Aquinas ratified the donation of Santa Maria sopra Minerva to the Dominicans of Santa Sabina by the sisters of S. Maria in Campo Marzio. The ensemble of buildings that formed around the church and convent came to be known as the insula sapientae or insula dominicana (island of wisdom or Dominican island).
The Dominicans began building the present Gothic church in 1280 modelling it on their church in Florence Santa Maria Novella. Architectural plans were probably drawn up during the pontificate of Nicholas III by two Dominican friars, Fra Sisto Fiorentino and Fra Ristoro da Campi. With the help of funds contributed by Boniface VIII and the faithful the side aisles were completed in the 14th century.
In 1453 church interior construction was finally completed when Cardinal Juan Torquemada ordered that the main nave be covered by a vault that reduced the overall projected height of the church. In the same year of 1453 Count Francesco Orsini sponsored the construction of the façade at his own expense. However work on the façade remained incomplete until 1725 when it was finally finished by order of Pope Benedict XIII.
In 1431, the Church and the adjacent Convent of the Dominicans was the site of a Papal conclave. The city of Rome was in an uproar upon the death of Pope Martin V (Colonna), whose family had dominated Roman political life for fifteen years, and enriched themselves on the wealth of the Church. There was fighting in the streets on a daily basis, and the Plaza in front of the Minerva, because of the configuration of streets, houses, church and monastery, could easily be fortified and defended. The Sacristy of the Church served as the meeting hall for the fourteen cardinals (out of nineteen) who attended the Conclave, which began on 1 March 1431. The dormitory of the friars in the Convent to the immediate north of the Church, served as the living quarters for the cardinals and their refectory and kitchen. On 3 March they elected Cardinal Gabriele Condulmaro, who took the name Eugenius IV. A second Conclave was held at the Minerva, on 4–6 March 1447, following the death of Pope Eugenius, once again in the midst of disturbances involving the Orsini supporters of Pope Eugenius and his enemies the Colonna. Eighteen cardinals (out of a total of twenty-six) were present and elected Cardinal Tommaso Parentucelli da Sarzana as Pope Nicholas V.
The Minerva has been a titular church since 1557, and a minor basilica since 1566. The church's first titular cardinal was Michele Ghislieri who became Pope Pius V in 1566. He raised the church to the level of minor basilica in that same year.
In the 16th century Giuliano da Sangallo made changes in the choir area, and in 1600 Carlo Maderno enlarged the apse, added Baroque decorations and created the present façade with its pilastered tripartite division in Renaissance style. Marks on this façade dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries indicate various flood levels of the Tiber 65 feet.
Between 1848 and 1855 Girolamo Bianchedi directed an important program of restoration when most of the Baroque additions were removed and the blank walls were covered with neo-gothic frescos giving the interior the Neo-Gothic appearance that it has today.
The basilica's stained glass windows are mostly from the 19th century. In 1909, the great organ was constructed by the firm of Carlo Vegezzi Bossi. The organ was restored in 1999.
The inscriptions found in S. Maria sopra Minerva have been collected and published by Vincenzo Forcella.

there are sometimes those odd days when know what? i just don't care about flare and burnout....this was one! the raw power of our sun, omnipotent but caressing, enfolding, burning.
Just seconds before the lighthouse lamp had given up its ghost in acknowledgement, you can just see the last tiny heatflicker at its centre.
It's not often you can get this close to north pier lighthouse Tynemouth from the north seaward rocks at low tide as it cuts you off so ferociously on the incoming. This one was worth the risk though. I was lucky to be able to get a handful of shots with rays coming behind and wrapping around the lighthouse as the sun moved gradually higher and to the right. This was taken with my little compact. No time for long exposure though :)

Given Empire was our main target I timed the aerial assault so CN would be loading. Well, on our first pass the second half of the empty train was there but no power. As we moved on to Eagle Mills I saw the light power going under a haul road just north of Empire so it was easy pickings on our return attempt. Here the train (U741) loads at Empire's Super Pocket (the original unused loading pockets are off to the right)
I was given this as a present about 20 years ago when working in Pakistan and each time I decide to make something out of it I look at the back and decide I like the back too much to cover it up.

Uniform golden-brown coat typical of Galápagos sea lions.
Body proportions match adult or subadult individual at rest.
Description:
A single sea lion is stretched out on pale sand, resting beside dark volcanic rocks. The animal is lying on its side with eyes closed, body relaxed, and one foreflipper folded along its back. Low, warm-angle sunlight highlights the smooth, golden-brown coat and creates strong contrast between the illuminated body and the darker rocks in the foreground.
The beach surface is mostly smooth with scattered small clumps and footprints, suggesting a lightly traveled shoreline. The black, porous rocks at the lower edge indicate a volcanic coastal environment typical of the Galápagos. The background falls out of focus into open sand, keeping attention on the sea lion’s elongated form and texture.
Overall impression: a quiet haul-out moment—still, warm, and undisturbed—showing a resting marine mammal in a stark volcanic beach setting.

I rarely get political but given the state of affairs over in Europe (again) I thought I'd just show some support for Ukraine. Europe already started two world wars. I do not want them to start another one.
The United States has done a lot of stupid, stupid, stupid things over the last 200 years or so, but what Russia is doing in March of 2022 is one of the dumbest things I've seen in my lifetime. What does Putin and his goons expect to gain from this?
I grew up as a kid in the 1970s and was taught to be afraid of the Soviet Union and communism, and I feared the government, not the people.
I have lived through the US invading other countries for no logical reason, I've seen the US overthrow democratically elected presidents, elect an orange buffoon, and many, many, many other things I wish hadn't happened.
The US isn't perfect but at least I feel relatively safe here. Even so close to Baltimore. I can't imagine what the average Ukrainian citizen is living through right now.
This isn't my photo (I dug it up on google) but I will share it and state loud and clear FUCK PUTIN AND FUCK THE RUSSIAN MILITARY.

Given that these were taken in July, and the temperature had been 25 to 30 degrees, I think this should be considered summer rather than spring. My Lathyrus has produced lots of flowers as usual, but I think the combination of heat and lack of water (in spite of us watering) has made the flowers rather shortlived.
This October has given us wonderful days, it's not raining, it's true, and this will be a problem, but after a torrid and so hot summer that did not allow it to stand out except in the shade, it's so enjoyable to absorb this sun and enjoy this light.....

The red fox (Vulpes vulpes) typically dominate other fox species. Arctic foxes generally escape competition from red foxes by living farther north, where food is too scarce to support the larger-bodied red species. Although the red species' northern limit is linked to the availability of food, the Arctic species' southern range is limited by the presence of the former. Red and Arctic foxes were both introduced to almost every island from the Aleutian Islands to the Alexander Archipelago during the 1830s–1930s by fur companies. The red foxes invariably displaced the Arctic foxes, with one male red fox having been reported to have killed off all resident Arctic foxes on a small island in 1866. Where they are sympatric, Arctic foxes may also escape competition by feeding on lemmings and flotsam, rather than voles, as favoured by red foxes. Both species will kill each other's kits, given the opportunity.
Red foxes are serious competitors of corsac foxes, as they hunt the same prey all year. The red species is also stronger, is better adapted to hunting in snow deeper than 10 cm (4 in) and is more effective in hunting and catching medium to large-sized rodents. Corsac foxes seem to only outcompete red foxes in semi-desert and steppe areas. In Israel, Blanford's foxes escape competition with red foxes by restricting themselves to rocky cliffs and actively avoiding the open plains inhabited by red foxes.:84–85 Red foxes dominate kit and swift foxes. Kit foxes usually avoid competition with their larger cousins by living in more arid environments, though red foxes have been increasing in ranges formerly occupied by kit foxes due to human-induced environmental changes. Red foxes will kill both species, and compete for food and den sites. Grey foxes are exceptional, as they dominate red foxes wherever their ranges meet. Historically, interactions between the two species were rare, as grey foxes favoured heavily wooded or semiarid habitats as opposed to the open and mesic ones preferred by red foxes. However, interactions have become more frequent due to deforestation allowing red foxes to colonise grey fox-inhabited areas.
Wolves may kill and eat red foxes in disputes over carcasses. In areas in North America where red fox and coyote populations are sympatric, fox ranges tend to be located outside coyote territories. The principal cause of this separation is believed to be active avoidance of coyotes by the foxes. Interactions between the two species vary in nature, ranging from active antagonism to indifference. The majority of aggressive encounters are initiated by coyotes, and there are few reports of red foxes acting aggressively toward coyotes except when attacked or when their kits were approached. Foxes and coyotes have sometimes been seen feeding together. In Israel, red foxes share their habitat with golden jackals. Where their ranges meet, the two canids compete due to near identical diets. Foxes ignore jackal scents or tracks in their territories, and avoid close physical proximity with jackals themselves. In areas where jackals become very abundant, the population of foxes decreases significantly, apparently because of competitive exclusion.
Red foxes dominate raccoon dogs, sometimes killing their kits or biting adults to death. Cases are known of foxes killing raccoon dogs entering their dens. Both species compete for mouse-like prey. This competition reaches a peak during early spring, when food is scarce. In Tartaria, red fox predation accounted for 11.1% of deaths among 54 raccoon dogs, and amounted to 14.3% of 186 raccoon dog deaths in north-western Russia.
Red foxes may kill small mustelids like weasels, stone martens, pine martens, stoats, kolonoks, polecats and young sables. Eurasian badgers may live alongside red foxes in isolated sections of large burrows. It is possible that the two species tolerate each other out of mutualism; foxes provide badgers with food scraps, while badgers maintain the shared burrow's cleanliness.:15 However, cases are known of badgers driving vixens from their dens and destroying their litters without eating them. Wolverines may kill red foxes, often while the latter are sleeping or near carrion. Foxes in turn may kill unattended young wolverines.
Red foxes may compete with striped hyenas on large carcasses. Red foxes may give way to hyenas on unopened carcasses, as the latter's stronger jaws can easily tear open flesh that is too tough for foxes. Foxes may harass hyenas, using their smaller size and greater speed to avoid the hyena's attacks. Sometimes, foxes seem to deliberately torment hyenas even when there is no food at stake. Some foxes may mistime their attacks, and are killed.:77–79 Fox remains are often found in hyena dens, and hyenas may steal foxes from traps.
In Eurasia, red foxes may be preyed upon by leopards, caracals and Eurasian lynxes. The lynxes chase red foxes into deep snow, where their longer legs and larger paws give them an advantage over foxes, especially when the depth of the snow exceeds one metre. In the Velikoluki district in Russia, red foxes are absent or are seen only occasionally where lynxes establish permanent territories. Researchers consider lynxes to represent considerably less danger to red foxes than wolves do. North American felid predators of red foxes include cougars, Canadian lynxes and bobcats. Occasionally, large raptors such as Eurasian eagle owls will prey on young foxes, while golden eagles have been known to kill adults.

All images had to be in Jpeg, No Post Processing, just one image per category, we had to return to our groups meeting place, the Great Wakering Royal British Legion Club by 3.00 pm.
The images were downloaded to our club laptop and were stored for judging by three independent judges, the results will be declared at our Photography Group meeting Monday 11th April 2022.
My wife's friend Marilyn gave this key ring as a gift, superb timing for this challenge for sure.
I am delighted to say tis was voted in 1st place in this category.
I would like to express my thanks to my Daughter Helen our Photography Group Secretary and Organiser for all her hard work time and effort in running a fabulous set of challenges.
The Master III meter finally bit the dust, glass fell in which is a common fault, so although nostalgia means it is retired with honour a replacement was due.
Step forward the advance that was the following model the IV which enjoyed only a short reign from 1960 until 1963 when the model V was introduced.
Why only the IV given decent examples of all the more modern models are common but the IV, due to the short run or perhaps to photographers like me that see it's advantages, less so?
The IV was a complete redesign, new casing smaller size, lighter but more importantly higher sensitivity (an extra stop at the low end) and with the needle lock. In this model an intuitive slider, replaced by a press action, far inferior in use IMHO, in all later models. A redesigned Invercone, marked IV as it will not fit earlier models, the V invercone is the same but marked IV and V, much confusion in poorly informed e-bay sellers, beware, I had to return a IV supplied with the "correct" cone, no it wasn't it was a Model III fit.
Now rather like early M3 Leica production there seems to have been much "tinkering" during the shortish run. There are certainly two calculator dials one, as in my Serial M example, that is "simplified" ie much clearer to read but with a silver "Setting" arrow and a more "traditional" one seen in at least the Y series more like a complex slide rule with a red arrow resembling the Series III. Some models have the ASA rating, yes Weston Ratings are gone, with a ratchet type click lock others seem not to but that could be wear perhaps, on others the slide lock button works in the opposite direction, all interesting but the light still gets measured.
This one tested accurate against my "standards".
A tip for buyers is to look for one sold with a tatty or well worn case, that means, hopefully, it has been stored protected from light most of its life which is what preserves the cell. The lock by the way is often instructed to be engaged when stored, the manual says the opposite of course !!
I am more than happy with my £10 expenditure with cases for both meter and invercone and the year 1960 matches one of my favourite M2 bodies, win, win.
For the curious the red blocks against 25th 50th 100th are speeds of 30th 60th and 125th for the cameras with those speeds.

Marsh Sneakers, aka corrupted as “Arsenickers or Arsnickers”, is a nickname given to Great Blue Herons (GBHs) in various parts of North America depicting the large bird’s ability to quietly blend and thrive into diverse wetland habitats, including marshes, swamps, and lakeshores. Here, a couple of the GBHs were observed along the shore of the Inner Harbour of Kingston, walking on shore next to the pedestrian path, flying short distances from one hunting site to another, as well as perched panting and grooming in our current severe heatwave. Despite their size, GBHs are generally unnoticed by most people strolling along the river edge path.

Given its exciting history as a Wrightbus demonstrator, WHV111 must surely find working the no. 1 day in and day out rather dull.
Once in every blue moon a bus that isn't an LT gets to work on this route. Usually it's a bus from Camberwell, but using one from the no. 1 is doable as well. When the VWLs were still around they would rarely venture out onto the 453, despite most of them being properly blinded and not all that different from the Enviro400s of the day. Supposedly TfL did not approve of those workings, and I struggle to see why. Buses older than the VWLs have worked the route before, so it's not an age thing. They had the long wheelbase, but the LTs are even longer.
Because WHV111 used to have LED displays instead of rollerblinds, the front aperture is too small, which means at most angles some part of the blind is cut off.
The enormous Ever Given container ship, wedged in Egypt’s Suez Canal, is visible in new images captured by the Copernicus Sentinel-1 mission.
The giant container ship ran aground in the canal on 23 March on its journey from China to the Netherlands. The image on the left, captured on 21 March, shows routine maritime traffic in the canal with vessels visible every 2 to 3 km. The image on the right, captured on 25 March, shows the 400 m-ship blocking the canal.
The canal connects Port Said on the Mediterranean Sea to the Indian Ocean via the Egyptian city of Suez on the Red Sea. The blockage has delayed hundreds of tankers and vessels in reaching their destination, and more maritime traffic is still heading to the crucial waterway. Ships can be seen accumulating in the Gulf of Suez.
Tug boats are working hard to dislodge the 200 000 tonne ship, however Egyptian authorities say it is unclear when the route will reopen.
The two identical Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellites carry radar instruments to provide an all-weather, day-and-night supply of imagery of Earth’s surface, making it ideal to monitor ship traffic.
The sea surface reflects the radar signal away from the satellite, and makes water appear dark in the image. This contrasts with metal objects, in this case the ships in the bay, which appear as bright dots in the dark waters.

While BDZ PP has given up and started sending its machines for overhauls abroad or to external contractors in Bulgaria, BDZ Cargo is still carrying out all the major overhauls of its class 43, 44 and 45 Skodas.
This particular example - locomotive 43 544 - has undergone treatment at its home depot Dupnitsa and is here seen at the station of Iliyantsi together with 43 553 on a fuel train to Serbia.
Taken with the Nikon Z 8 w/ Nikkor Z 600mm f/6.3 VR S w/ Z TC-1.4X teleconverter. As you can see it's a fabulous lens, and so light weight I miss it already. However I actually don't think it's that much better than my NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR w/ Z TC-1.4X teleconverter.
The weight factor is a big deal at just over 3 lbs. But even at only 3 lbs. it's still to heavy for an 81 year old fellow that has been beating the stuffings out of myself my whole life.
With, count em' 2 torn rotator cuffs. And if I have to go through that much pain to left my camera and lens, it's hardly anything compared to the pain I've been going through thinking about the pain and suffering I have to endure parting with nearly 5 grand, now that's real pain. If had unlimited funds, I'd keep it in a heart beat.

r was first given the right to hold markets in 1066 by the newly victorious William the Conqueror. In a congratulatory gesture, he conferred the title of Manor of Manchester upon one of his valued knights. And with the honour came the privilege of holding markets and fairs.
The council's longstanding link with markets was created in 1845, when the authority bought the city's Market Rights from Sir Oswald Moseley. A year later, the Corporation of Manchester was given the power to provide and regulate markets in the city under the 1846 Manchester Markets Act.
For the next three decades, most markets in the city served the wholesale trade, dealing mostly in the slaughter of livestock and the preparation of meat for cold stores and general sale.
In 1872, the Smithfield area around Shude Hill and Thomas Street was transformed by the creation of the wholesale fruit, vegetable and fish markets. Situated in what is now known as the Northern Quarter, Smithfield was a cavernous structure filled with the vibrancy and chaos of goods being loaded and deals being made.
The beautifully carved arches of the original fish market can still be seen from the cobbles of the High Street.
The fringes of the area became a haven for retail stalls and barrow boys, selling anything from buns to books. The remnants of this early era can still be seen in Church Street and Shude Hill.

About Motion
In physics, motion is change of location or position of an object with respect to time. Change in motion is the result of an applied force. Motion is typically described in terms of velocity also seen as speed, acceleration, displacement, and time. An object's velocity cannot change unless it is acted upon by a force, as described by Newton's first law also known as Inertia. An object's momentum is directly related to the object's mass and velocity, and the total momentum of all objects in a closed system (one not affected by external forces) does not change with time, as described by the law of conservation of momentum.
A body which does not move is said to be at rest, motionless, immobile, stationary, or to have constant (time-invariant) position.
Motion is always observed and measured relative to a frame of reference. As there is no absolute reference frame, absolute motion cannot be determined; this is emphasised by the term relative motion. A body which is motionless relative to a given reference frame, moves relative to infinitely many other frames. Thus, everything in the universe is moving.
For just a little while we have the power,

16 KNOW that a man is NOT justified by observing the law, but by FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be JUSTIFIED BY FAITH in CHRIST and NOT by observing the law, BECAUSE BY OBSERVING THE LAW NO ONE WILL BE JUSTIFIED. (Galatians 2:16)

9. For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 11. Whether, then, it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed. (1 Corinthians 15:1-11)
7. Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8. All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9. I am the gate; whoever enters through me WILL BE SAVED. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10. The thief comes only to STEAL and KILL and DESTROY; I have come that they may have LIFE, and have it to the FULL. (John 10:7-10)
1 Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. 2 For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. 3 Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness. 4 Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
5 Moses describes in this way the righteousness that is by the law: "The man who does these things will live by them." 6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'" (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 "or 'Who will descend into the deep?'" (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:1-13)
Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

A guy happily looks at his little son as the latter smilingly looks directly into my camera while he's being given a cold bath by his father under a warm mid-afternoon sunshine.
The guy, who works as a motorcycle taxi driver, has taken a break from his work to do a duty which his wife usually does but cannot perform at this time as she's busy putting their second child to bed.

Given that the Nobel prize giving ceremony and all the sparkle and glitter associated with it has had to be postponed, they have tried to lift spirits by lighting up some of the city’s buildings. I was with some lovely photographers doing a small tour of these, of course I didn’t really photograph the main event. Instead I looked around for something a little different.
