5 Moses describes in this way the righteousness that is by the law: "The man who does these things will live by them." 6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'" Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

Given the voracity with which this calf was feeding it is no wonder the mom has such a look of impatient tolerance on her face! No doubt very close to being fully weaned, she did not allow it to feed for very long. Still, it was a very tender moment to witness.

1 Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. 2 For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. 3 Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness. 4 Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
5 Moses describes in this way the righteousness that is by the law: "The man who does these things will live by them." 6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'" (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 "or 'Who will descend into the deep?'" (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

We were given some black cocktail tomatoes by a neighbour. We decided to harvest the seeds for growing the following season. Disappointed with the flavour and texture so we tend to use them to add colour to a salad.Our main crop of tomatoes are a large red that are from tomatoes given to us by a friend. Here again we save seeds from the fruit each year snd have had several years of a consistant supply of plants grown from these seeds. Apart from the ones we use in salads or sandwiches the bulk go into making passata that we store frozen for use in making pasta dishes over the year.
This is the lighthouse at Cape Spear, St John's, Newfoundland. I was photographing the landscape in the opposite direction when my wife exclaimed, "look behind you!" A few clouds were trying their best to colorup and did so just as they reached the Cape Spear Lighthouse.
The timing of the clouds was fortunate but the coloring of them was down right lucky. It lasted only seconds and I seemed to be close to the right position. In order to get it just right I quickly moved and set up my tripod while the dancing clouds altered their position as well. It reminded me that just as in life, sometimes we take what we are given and just work with it.
Milky Way Shoot but no Milky Way
This was supposed be a Milky Way Shoot from last Summer. Yet despite careful planning the weather will do what it wants and clouds started rolling in a few hours before the sunset. The cloud cover just continued as the evening when on and it became “clear” we were not going to get our Milk Way shoot. We setup our lights anyway and as you can see, the shoot wasn’t a total waste of time.
There are moments that don’t belong to the camera—
only to the brief, unspoken understanding between two people.
I noticed her in passing,
just another face in the endless rhythm of the city—
and yet, something held.
Before the moment could dissolve,
she turned,
as if she had felt it—
that small, invisible thread of attention—
and answered it with a smile.
Not posed. Not practiced.
Just given.
A hand lifted gently into the light,
two fingers tracing a quiet sign of peace—
as if to say
yes, I see you too.
And then it was gone again,
folded back into the movement of the harbor,
the wind,
the city that rarely slows long enough
to let such moments breathe.
But for an instant,
it did.

Waterfall Country is the name given to an area around the head of the Vale of Neath in South Wales where an unusually large number of publicly accessible waterfalls are located in the southern part of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Collectively the falls are one of the most popular natural attractions in South Wales,
Most occupy locations designated as sites of special scientific interest or as special areas of conservation which aim to protect the biodiversity and geodiversity of these sites. The designations place a duty on the landowners and managers to protect the sites and so various erosion control measures have been put in place in an attempt to counter the worst problems.
Little art to this one, but a pleasing enough impact given the combination of train, sun and the signal gantry.
GBRf 'Shed' 66789 approaches Basingstoke on the Up Slow with the 10.31am Southampton Western Docks - Ditton (Merseyside) containers (4M59). At the end of the platform behind me, the train will turn sharp left and head towards Reading, Oxford and north through the West Midlands.
The container working on the left of the frame is 4O27, the tail-end of which is just passing through the station (see shot a couple of uploads ago).
South Western Trains class 450, unit 450059 (with a sister set behind), waits on its next turn - probably a local up to London Waterloo.

Wake up call given out by this Knot (Calidris canutus) as I edged closer...this meant that half the flock of birds I was watching scooted over to the next rock pool island. There is always one keeping a beady eye on you! :))

The knot is a dumpy, short-legged, stocky wading bird. In winter, It is grey above and white below; in summer the chest, belly and face are brick-red. In flight, it shows a pale rump and a faint wing-stripe. It forms huge flocks in winter which wheel and turn in flight, flashing their pale underwings as they twist and turn. Many knots use UK estuaries as feeding grounds, both on migration and in winter, and therefore the population is vulnerable to any changes such as barrages, sea-level rises and human disturbance. Large numbers of birds visit the UK in winter from their Arctic breeding grounds.
A couple of weeks ago I was given the chance to photograph this adorable little border collie puppy Hope. Hope was too young too go out in public due to vaccinations, so the shoot took place in my garden. Some of the shots like this one were taken with studio lighting.
After having success photographing cats against hessian, silk and other textiles I invested in a canvas backdrop from Bespoke Backdrops UK - Hand Painted Photography Backdrops in a lovely powder blue, and sat cutesome pup Hope in a wicker cat basket. Sher spent a fair bit of time knocking it over and otherwise destroying the set but I'm super happy with this shot of her...more to follow in the next week or two as we see Hope jumping, cuddling and rolling around!

Budai is a nickname given to the ancient Chinese monk Qici who is often identified with and venerated as Maitreya Buddha in Chan Buddhism. With the spread of Chan Buddhism, he also came to be venerated in Vietnam, Korea, and Japan. He is said to have lived around the 10th century CE in the Wuyue kingdom.
The name "Budai" literally means "cloth sack", and refers to the bag he is usually depicted carrying as he wanders aimlessly. His jolly nature, humorous personality, and eccentric lifestyle distinguish him from most Buddhist masters or figures. He is almost always shown smiling or laughing, hence his nickname in Chinese, the "Laughing Buddha". As Budai is traditionally depicted as overweight and having a huge stomach (possibly a symbol of abundance or forgiveness) and many stories surrounding Budai involve his love of food and drink, he is also referred to as the "Fat Buddha", especially in the Western world.

WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. Söderåsen is an ancient mountain horst and national park in northwestern Scania, in the municipalities of Bjuv, Klippan, Svalöv and Åstorp. At Söderåsen is Skåne's highest point: 212 m above sea level, which is officially nameless despite efforts to create a name[2][3]. The ridge stretches from Röstånga in the southeast to Åstorp in the northwest. Skåne's highest church village Stenestad is located in the middle of the ridge, 180 meters above sea level.
Along the steep northeast slope are canyon-like valleys such as Skäralid and Klöva halls. Broadleaf forest dominates in the valleys and along the slopes of the ridge. Natural pastures with heathers and moors together with marshes and bogs contribute to a varied landscape. Several natural areas on Söderåsen are protected, in addition to the national park also the nature reserves Hjorthagen Wrams Gunnarstorp, Klöva hallar, Åvarp, Åvarps fälad, Hallabäcken valley, Traneröds mosse and Nackarp. Just north of the national park is the Klåveröd hiking area. The Skåneleden hiking trail (the Ås to åsleden trail section) and the Söderåsleden follow Söderåsen all the way from Åstorp to Röstånga. On the southern slopes of Söderåsen are the two hiking areas Finnstorp and Smedjebacken. Outside Stenestad is the park facility Stenestad park.
The name was written in 1505 Sønderaas and has been given by the inhabitants of Norra and Södra Åsbo districts north of the ridge.[4]
Got given a day off work yesterday and thought the rainforest might be a great place to hangout, get a bit of exercise, chill out and take a few photos. A couple of tourists tried to spoil the peace by flying their drone, unfortunately the drone crashed into the trees above me then into the river, karma. I had a little chuckle on the inside : )
Something began pulsating when they injected me and in my head I thought it wouldn't be long and I would soon be in the daylight. I was being given instructions and counselled patiently, by voices, and I could not move. I was staring at this picture projected on the wall, this picture of you I had taken when you were sitting on the couch at our house. I was so afraid and alone, and I wanted to touch you… I remember tracing your smile on the wall, your eyes, the mellow descent of your nose… lost in your face as my mind was slowly dissolving and being laboriously recomposed elsewhere… the shreds and islands of silver under my hands, fused in my reluctant and paralysed disbelief, memories of you like rain thought my eyes. Something began pulsating when they injected me and in my head I thought it wouldn't be long and I would soon be in the daylight.

This shot isn't anything special given that its just a light unit sitting in the shade. But the location is just so cool that I used my wide angle to just capture the whole scene. This lone YN2 AC4400CW is the local power for Selkirk based B765, the Hudson Grain train here on the old Boston and Albany Hudson and Chatham branch now known as CSXT's Claverack Industrial Track.
In addition to the famous two blocks of street running the train also amazingly cuts right through the middle of the town square park. Sharp eyes will note the Hannukah Menorah lit up for the season, and of course just out of frame at left is a Christmas tree too. The crew had paused for a while by the old depot (and soon to be brewery) then pulled across the crossing and stopped right here in the center of town for another break. The conductor kept the locomotive company while the engineer walked to grab a coffee then chatted it up with a local lady and her dog and even loaded a baby up on the engine for some photos. It was all quite amusing and charming in a strange old fashioned railroading kind of way....I suppose it is that whole juxtaposition of time and place contrasting with the norm of modern railroading that makes this job so appealing to watch. I don't know...forgive my rambled musings...this place is just simply too cool to resist, and it continuely calls me back!

The Red Lines of Red Flame's tiny flowers serve to lead insects to the nourishing products deep inside the corolla. Red Flame flourishes in tropical shade. Indeed, by noon most flowers have fallen. Here they're still attached to their dark green plants. But fallen is that scarlet seed from the shading Bead Tree above our flowers. Those very hard seeds are still used to fashion beady necklaces; given their consistant weights they were once apparently used for weighing in the gold trade.
