Snow in June
Given the high altitude of Ben MacDui we shouldn't have been surprised to come across snow, but we were. The big question of course is "how did it taste?" .. the answer.. cold!!. Looking across the Lharig Ghru, we can see the summits of Cairn Toul and Sgor an Lochain Uaine.
Ben Macdui is the UK's 2nd highest peak (second only to Ben Nevis) and stands at 1309m (4294ft). After descending from this Munro we make a climb to the 2nd Munro of the day, Carn a' Mhaim (pronounced Carn-ah-Vame) at 1037m (3402ft).
