Это село Гамсутль, находится на высоте 1500м над уровнем моря. Добраться сюда можно либо пешком, либо на лошадях. Идти не особо далеко, но всегда в горку. К подножью мы добрались уже под дождем и начали веселое восхождение по скользкой глиняной тропе в ручьях стекающей воды. Примерно на полпути началась самая настоящая гроза, с сильным ветром, громом и молниями. И тут выяснилось, что я забыл свое пончо в машине. Пришлось снимать куртку и накинуть ее поверх рюкзака, который еще не просох после утреннего ливня. Мы решили не возвращаться, а продолжить путь наверх, в надежде сделать несколько снимков. Абсолютно промокший я шел и гадал, какие снимки можно сделать в грозу и стоит ли вообще забираться на скалу, когда вокруг молнии. К моменту когда мы вышли к Гамсутлю, гроза уже бушевала довольно далеко и нас поливал утихающий дождь. Мы сделали привал на чай. Согревшись горячим чаем мы от души посмеялись над нашим внешним видом: грязные и мокрые, одним словом - фотографы. В итоге мы конечно же сняли то, за чем пришли, ничего особенного, просто аул-призрак в грозу.

This is the village of Gamsutl, located at an altitude of 1500m above sea level. You can get here either on foot or on horseback. Not very far to go, but all the way up the hill. We reached the foot already in the rain and began a cheerful ascent along a slippery clay path in streams of flowing water. About halfway through, a real thunderstorm began, with strong winds, thunder and lightning. And then it turned out that I forgot my poncho in the car. I had to take off my jacket and throw it over my backpack, which had not yet dried out after the morning downpour. We decided not to return, but to continue our way up, hoping to take some pictures. Absolutely wet, I walked and wondered what pictures can be taken in a thunderstorm and whether it is worth climbing a rock when there is lightning around. By the time we got to Gamsutl, the storm was already raging quite far and we were being watered by subsiding rain. We made a stop for tea. Having warmed up with hot tea, we laughed heartily at our appearance: dirty and wet, in a word - photographers. In the end, of course, we captured what we came for, nothing special, just a ghost village in a thunderstorm.

Atlantic ghost crab on the beach at Cape Henlopen State Park
Ghost crabs burrow in the sand, but must get into the water periodically to moisten their gills. They are very shy, but if you stand still long enough, they emerge to roam around. Until you move, and then they are instantly gone. It's a cool game

It's ok when TVs turn on themselves. But what something throws you at the ceiling - that's a different story. You can't do anything but to cry. or try to cover your head and face. Instincts are all you have at that moment. Be safe
This abandoned mine foreman's house was the last inhabited dwelling in the ghost town of Vulture City for a time. It's last inhabitants left suddenly,leaving the old house fully furnished. Today, as the town has become a tourist attraction and the old mine property is being reworked, it stands as a testament to the towns ghostly past.

Ghost Ranch is located close to the village of Abiquiú in north central New Mexico. It was the home and studio of Georgia O'Keeffe, as well as the subject of many of her paintings. It’s hard not to be mesmerized by the flowing gentle hills and the layers of subtle desert tones, which are offset by the twisted trunks and muted green of the cedar trees.
I rarely see the male Northern Harrier, appropriately tagged the Gray Ghost. So this was pretty much an epic encounter late this past winter at a favorite wildlife area. He actually made several low passes over this marsh area while I watched with jaw open, trying to bloody hand-hold my 600 prime with the tele. I dared not take the time to maybe give myself a break and take the TC off or pull out the tripod. Clearly worked out.
