I took this photo this morning, very early in Liverpool. Such a nice day, completely blue sky, bitterly cold though.
I saw this harsh shadow, the type you get at the hight of summer and it make me feel a little more awake.
Spent the whole day working as a photographer and am completely shattered.
Was out last night, and the night before that, been getting up around 7 and going to sleep at about 4 in the morning, avg. about 3/4 hours a night!
I was trying to get a shot of a Swallow flying towards me or maybe taking a drink from the canal. I think I need some of the gear that the Springwatch team use.

Sophie and I were the only folks in our group not to accidentally capsize - a very good thing indeed.
Skies turning undulatus asperatus-y! We were getting in on the tail end of a passing weather system around this time so it won't be surprising if we do get some rain sooner or later. So, the machine is working, has Ubuntu 6.10 installed and MythTV 0.20. Also have the VFD display working and almost have the volume knob working. IR is working and DVD playback works. Next step is to take it home, rig it up to our aerial and see if I can get any Freeview channels. Then the reall fun starts =)
I also need to make it all quieter, the stock P4 CPU coolers are noisy!
