Our favorite way to get Jack clean and shiny is to hand him to Johnathan at the end of his morning shower. Jack seems to love it. I get his fluffy hoodie towel and take him from Johnathan when they're done.
I love to go a wandering down the woods with the camera. Sometimes I just travel light and take one camera and the lens it has on. Today's uploads were all taken with my Canon EOS M and the 18-55mm kit lens. It was a great little camera but after getting an offer I couldn't refuse I sold it. Not got round to replacing it yet though....
Update: On further investigation, it seems that all but the first shot were taken using my 50mm EF lens, the "Plastic Fantastic" or "Nifty Fifty" as it is otherwise known. That'll explain all the shallow dof and creamy bokeh then...

Haven't been out with my camera in awhile, but took a few early evening shots downtown after hanging out with friends from Chicago in town for the day.
I thought I'd try to get a few photos of my interactions with Heidi. After all, she is a rather atypical former feral given how much she loves affection. These were a hoot to capture as Heidi didn't quite know what to think of the tripod setup. At first I simply ended up with many photos of just me: whenever the camera started beeping Heidi hopped down, ran over to the base of the tripod, and stared up quizzically at the camera.
Nothing stellar in this series. I'll likely try again. Maybe I'll get the remote working so I don't have to keep getting up to push the button. Or maybe I should just ask my neighbor to come down and take a few photos of Heidi interacting with his wife and me.

Diagon Alley, one of the most fun days of the year, at least Toby thinks so. After it was his first major experience with the wizarding world and he has been loving every moment. Though today...Today is already a bore but it was something that needed to be done. He stood straight, arms spread out as measurements and adjustments to his new uniform were made, Standing arms spread out reminded him of some of the punishments he had to deal with when he was younger and he was thoroughly miserable and bored as the seamstress does her magic to make his uniform perfect. #MischiefManagedSL #MMBacktoSchool
The feathers of an anhinga's neck and back look somewhat more like fur than feathers, adding to their unusual appearance. This is a female anhinga. The males are more black.
