We have a wee bit of snow.
Sometimes my photos require “Getting Close” to the subject physically. Lying on top of pile of leaves or wading in shallow waters. Remaining always safe there’s not much I haven’t tried yet to “Get That Shot, lol” From the top of the Empire State Building in NYC to a Native American Celebration in New Mexico and many cool places in between. SEE at Stodmarsh, Kent, in the Elder Wood, this Female was acting very brave, it was a pure joy to see on my first trip to a nature reserve with a camera.. Did not see a lot, but the bird song was amazing, and being back with nature, was heavenly , I will never take nature for granted, and this has taught me to appreciate it far more, and to thank God for every new day on this planet.

Thank you for all the lovely comments on the first image I posted of this. I thought I would post just one more with a slightly different composition, I think my long exposure attempts will stay hidden!
So today I am doing the British thing of sunbathing flat out in the garden in a vain attempt to look a bit more glowing and healthy.
Especially as tomorrow I start a 4 week course of meds where I cannot sit in the sun. How rubbish is that?
