You must be the change you wish to see in the world - Ghandi

Friday night we recovered nearly 300 bottles and about 20ish jugs of expensive organic hippy juice from the vicious jaws of a dumpster. Each one of those costs three bucks retail. So yes, that’s a score worth well over a grand before we even hit up trader joes. All in my friend Oriens truck that runs on vegetable oil.

My husband has recently taught the dog to 'get the cat'. So now all it takes is three words and the dog zones in on the cat and they chase each other around the house.

I went on a really long hike, and took this at the end of it. I don't have much to say tonight.

Ava's rescue video has two versions. The short version: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hVmjkUT9xs

and a long version that shows the whole process - no music, no titles... just raw footage: www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUbE8lTKmMQ

I was joined by Victoria Van Violence on this rescue and as you'll see she did a beautiful job in helping me calm Ava down and getting her safely to the hospital. Victoria is planning on coming back to L.A soon.

Spent some time in the garden late this afternoon considering if I need to get the lawn mower out soon. Also noticed some tender spring growth and thought I get more acquainted. There was definitely a connection happening.

My go for today's challenge: Down.

A bit of a stretch, I know, but I like it :D

Lots of editing! Photoshop even! Got rid of the whole background. These challenges are bad for my SOOC!
