The doctors were getting ready to do surgery on an ARVN soldier that they thought had a live round in his back. When they got the object out it was the sustainer motor of an RPG.
The PS4 was from my brother and sister-in-law, who weren't there that morning, and when they first opened it they had great and genuine happy reactions. So my dad suggested that we take a video to show their aunt and uncle, pretending that they just opened the present again. But he was critical of their second take.

This is an oldie but goodie...a video of an American Goldfinch/Pine Siskin pool party in our fountain. I am sad to report the fountain cracked over the winter :(

Marina & the Diamonds live at Get Loaded in the Park
Boy it was quite a cute festival, travelling there was a blast since it was a 30 minute bus journey, the site was small enough to jump from one stage/tent to another, it didn't rain! (though sometimes i love a bit of rain). The crowd were pretty fruity, managed to catch folks snorting cocaine, smoking weed and climbing up pilars until the security realises 30 minutes in a set and sends people to get them down.
Quite liked how it ended at 9pm too, sadly I was all over the place and wasn't able to enjoy many bands, fortunately I did stay for Royksopp since they rarely play here. Highlight bands were Peaches and Royksopp. Not sure if I wanna go again though, especially how I'm more of an indie folk kid than a strictly come dance kid. Still, it was nice seeing some bands I've never heard of (I was literally following folks around to know which band were shooting worthy).

The day before the Copthorne Hotel collapsed when it was being constructed! Luckily it wasn't the day this event was on!

On Friday we chose an adventure in Chloe's favorite woods. We were going to Worship Central so we wanted to make sure we gave her some attention before leaving her at home all night. We didn't have loads of time so the walk was only 45 minutes. I don't think she was happy with this, because as soon as she spotted the car (about 10 feet away) she just plopped down in the middle of the road and would not get up! Silly pup!
