I was asked to photograph an acoustic gig at the Generous Briton in Loughborough and jumped at the chance to photograph some musicians under coloured lighting and experiment with the images.
Thank you for taking the time to take a look at my photographs

These generous-hearted firemen volunteered their services by taking photos for passers-by. People handed them their cameras and they snapped away. They did this non-stop for four hours so that folks could benefit from their superior view atop the firetruck. Kudos fellows!!!

Photo taken at Italy, Basilicata, Dolomiti Lucane (Pietrapertosa).
It 's like taking a trip back in time ... in a landscape where the hand of man has not yet occurred and the nature shows so', pristine and majestic. Nature is a generous woman. As a totem of nature, the Lucanian Dolomites are the place to find oneself. The secret is to stop listening to the silence and realize how rare and difficult to sustain today, in a world that frantically search development.
Safe shelter and peaceful coexistence
Chamchamal, Sulaymaniya, KR, Iraq, 23 July, 2014 – “United Nations are extremely thankful to the people of Sulaymaniya Governorate for their generosity and hospitality offered to the thousands of internally displaced people (IDPs) who left their homes in Ninewa Governorate as the consequence of the ongoing surge in armed conflict” said Dr. Jacqueline Badcock, Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General (DSRSG) for Iraq and Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator, during her visit, yesterday and today, to the Suleymaniya Governorate, where he met the Governor, Mr. Bahroz Salih, and visited the small city of Chamchamal, which received more than 1.500 displaced families in the last few weeks.
While visiting one of the temporary shelters, in meetings with IDPs she shared her deep concern about their humanitarian situation.
“Many communities were already living in poverty with very few resources to deal with economic disruption and displacement. The Government of Iraq’s and the Kurdistan Regional Government’s capacity to adequately and rapidly respond to the increased needs of the affected population has been quickly overwhelmed,” stated Dr. Badcock and added that “the authorities at all levels has requested assistance from the United Nations. With the generous support from donors, among which is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the UN is enabled to address, in close cooperation with central, regional and local governments, the dire living conditions of the IDPs, and the burden on host communities that are supporting the displaced”.
As most of the IDPs in this Governorate are currently sheltered with host families and at public premises, United Nations, in partnership with the authorities and numerous non-governmental organizations, are taking steps to urgently secure long term dignified solutions in the form of the establishment of IDPs camps where affected population will be provided with housing, security, access to public services, freedom of movement while at the same time securing peaceful coexistence with host communities population.
