Gate at Dan Morgan's Lookout, Walla Walla, NSW.
To get to the lookout, it's necessary to drive through private farm property, so there are a number of gates to open along the way. This is heading back down from the lookout, looking in the same direction as my picture from the top of the lookout

A fleet of sailboats head out of San Francisco Bay in an ocean race. The boat in the foreground, full crew on the rail, has just passed the Golden Gate Bridge.
Geocaches are sometimes hidden in unusual places - such as this one, inside the metal tubing of a gate.

Where did the Barclay Brothers' Cafe go? The Red Lion has gone upmarket with hanging baskets and seats outside. The gates to New Scotland Yard and Cannon Row are still there. How many times have I stood there in case of IRA bombers.

Gates pass is a mountain pass that runs along the crest of the Tucson mountains, it was named for the gentleman who was looking to make a shortcut through the mountain range, Thomas Gates.
Now it is a popular spot for hiking, picnics, and sunsets for photographers and for the romantics.
