Gates Pass

Gates pass is a mountain pass that runs along the crest of the Tucson mountains, it was named for the gentleman who was looking to make a shortcut through the mountain range, Thomas Gates.

 

Now it is a popular spot for hiking, picnics, and sunsets for photographers and for the romantics.
