The "gate keeper" is like a guy that pesters you at the bar in Wetherspoons. Yes my gate keeper!

The village measure's time: the church bells; the dialy paper (see above) and the occassional bus.

I love this gate; it's stoic utility - turning only on it's own axis; as time, weather and the people from the village pass unremarked.

This was the gate on the main way up to the castle.

Prudhoe Castle, Northumberland UK was built in the 12th Century to defend against invading Scots. Mostly in ruins bar the Manor House which holds an exhibition about the Castle.
