Clearing the ivy and dirt has revealed more stones in a step or possibly box formation. About 1/4 cleared, so much more still to do until we figure out the full extent.

The water feature will consist of four pools. Each one sitting at a higher level than the other. The lowest pool will be the largest and here you can see the area seperated off with wooden. I then filled it with hardcore and will put down a 15cm layer of concrete. Ive invested in a cement mixer (hired) to help mix the 2 tonnes of concrete required.
