I haven’t seen too many spectacular sunrises like this one in such a beautiful place as this. This was one of those mornings where I am reminded why I get to be a photographer and why I enjoy it so much. I am so thankful that the Lord showed me this wonderful sight after a long and tiring season and a 13 hour drive the day before. I truly cannot express how beautiful this was to see in person!
I must be mad photographing in this weather but the insects are popping so a girl needs to do what a girl needs to do!
Thank you all for looking at my images and for your faves, I so gratefully appreciate all of you... but at this time it's hard for me to reply individually, so I will be disabling the comments.... I have my hands full raising over 300 Monarchs... from eggs!! This is a full time job, but worth the reward in helping them...

Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew, London. The Gardens have a longer prehistory, however, as a public institution they date back to 1840. Kew Gardens is also a prominent place of botanical research and, most importantly these days, one of the few locations in the world where an attempt is being made at preserving the seeds of, if possible, all existing plants.
Trying to pick up my camera every day. The morning is always best. The sunlight hadn't quite come in so the light was quit gentle.
This sunrise was out of this world, I could hardly believe how stunning it was! It was such a needed treat after many weeks of doing little to no photography as well as some difficult weeks with my health. I am very thankful that after a 13 hour drive, 5 of which was in dangerous fog, we were able to make it in safely by the Lord's grace and then wake up to see this! The sky was colorful in all directions and it was not even possible to photograph all of it. I hope to see many more sunrises like this over the week!
