Pixels took me to a hilarious installation on Locusolus island - it's a huge faucet, and it spews garbage! This is pretty close to the beginning of the sequence, so there's not much on the ground.
the city wrapped these bins in plastic to stop people from using them, but after about 5 seconds the plastic was ripped off and people started stuffing them with garbage. now, about a week later, they're exploding. and, it's been windy the past few days, so margy got attacked by flying garbage while visiting from london.
The garbage strike did not have too much of an effect on St. James Town because the garbage pickup is private but some of the areas garbage disposal is taken care of by the city of Toronto, such as the garbage can shown in the picture. The buildup got so bad, that the garbage can fell open on both sides, and is spilling out onto the street corner.
Having a cleaner, more attractive environment to live in makes us want to keep it clean, and makes littering less likely because you would want to maintain the beautiful neighborhood. When there is garbage flowing out of cans and people throwing things all over the grass, the average person wont take time out of there day to clean up a whole park, but in fact might add to the mess by throwing an empty wrapper if the garbage can is too full. Keeping the area clean does not only rely in the occupants of the building but maintenance and management, if they take the first step, then residence will be more likely to follow behind. I am glad that St. James Town has private garbage collection, its one of the many positive things in the neighborhood. The buildup of garbage from all the buildings would not have good for anyone’s health or well-being in the neighborhood.

Just a little trash can holder. Got tired of dogs getting n in the garbage when we went somewhere so here's my solution. Took about 4 hrs mostly because I was working here and there. The hardest part was the door.
this is the garbage can outside of the Dickson City Gallery of Sound. I have never put a CD sticker on this can before. Not that I can recall, anyway.
So... I fall asleep at the desk earlier today. Just kinda doze off. It was lunch time... it's my prerogative, right?
Well, next thing I freeking know I'm being rammed head long into the trash. What the frick is that about?!
"Oh, sorry, Filbert. I didn't see you there."
What?! You didn't see me laying here on the desk? WTF am I some wadded up piece of invisible paper or something?
Holy hell. Let this be a warning to you. Don't fall asleep at your desk.

I just got a new Canon 5D and it's like the first time I ever got a camera. I have been taking pictures of everything. I just can't put the camera down. I have been doing that thing where you want to watch tv but you also want to play with your new camera so you wind up with a lot of pictures of the tv.
