Scavengers in garbage city shelters sift through more than 1000 tons of garbage in the patch every day. From the large quantity of the trash, scavengers still can find recyclable items and resell them.

I hate litterbugs.

This garbage can was filled to the top with empty cd cases. There's also a stack of several hundred cds that I'm going to have to deal with. Most of the good ones are all scratched up from being played. Anyone want some?

"Vicoli" are the small lanes in the Spanish neighborhoods. They are astonishingly clean nowadays, where the smart part of Naples is full of garbage. The difference is that people who live in the vicoli have never relied on any organised garbage collection.
