A window frame reused as a vertical garden, a nice idea and easy to do garden project!

I think this is my most successful of 'framed art'. I've always liked the original etching, 'The Majestic Restaurant' and now the frame has only enhanced it.

Framing out the corner of the low desk. I was hoping to maximize the space below the stairs and have a place to sit to do some work.
Frame of Sekisui-in (石水院), Kozanji (高山寺), Kyoto (京都).
Not sure what wood it is, but I love the texture.
Original : 5045 x 3652
Presenting photos is a hard challenge and Flickr, which we all know and love, may not provide the very best interface for that purpose.
In this series of 20 photos I try to present them in a more traditional manner that you would use for a print - namely on a matte with a dark frame.
This shot is taken at the top of Rockefeller tower in NYC using a Canon 5Dmkii and EF17-40mm f/4L USM @ 17mm, f/16. As this is a night shot with an 8 seconds exposure, I needed some support for the camera. Here I used a GorillaPod to mount the camera. Great little device, which fits easily in a standard camera bag.
Details in the LARGE version.

Another image from the Japanese garden in Cowra... technically not taken over the weekend, but I've gotten a little caught up taking high-key flower photos and forgot to do a 'framed'!
I wanted to frame a shot with the Byrd Theater and New York Deli in the background. The heart of Carytown. Iconic. I was the first one to set up, terrified a homeless person or performer may set up where I scouted out my spot the week before.
