Cabo Frio, RJ, Brazil, 2012. – I started shooting more regularly ten years ago, around the time I signed up for Flickr. I think it's time for a little retrospective...

A photo-idea that often works pretty well. Here, looking at San Pablo reservoir from the Nimitz Trail in Tilden Park.

After stumbling across this beautiful old church and finding no information about it in Trove, The National Library Australia.

I found the information below thanks to Flickr member, John Jennings

who had photographed it 4 years ago.

Wesleyan Methodist Church, Wattle Flat Road, Sandergrove, South Australia

The church was built in 1867 for George Tucker, an early pastoralist of the area.

Königskuchen-Figuren aus Frankreich, Porzellan.

Like the view to the red tree and the light there in the foreground.

A couple more shots of my mini series on framed sun taken at Briton Ferry. I have tried to photograph the contrasts between industrial dereliction and nature reclaiming the land!

Everyone loves Mardin, and it’s immediately apparent why: this ancient town crowned with a castle overlooks the vast, roasted Mesopotamian plains extending to Syria, and the honey-coloured stone houses that trip down the side of the hillside give it something of the feel of old city.

In rural North Dakota. Yet another once beautiful farm house, on the banks of a river...so sad.

....are well, back to B&W ;- )

The setting sun, framed by palm leaves atz Koh Samui, Thailand

I am still busy, as this is my last month at Samui. Thank you for your visit. Happy midweek greetings.

Framed clouds through the windows of the old Delicias railway station (1880-1969), in Madrid, Spain, which currently houses the Railway Museum.

The truth is that the clouds threatened rain, but in the end it was a great afternoon and night.

In that old station, with a monthly frequency, a temporary market called "Mercado de Motores" is organized, although in reality all kinds of items are sold, such as antiques, clothing, accessories, and food items for gourmets.

There I recently bought a delicious meat from cattle raised in a completely natural way, even with food produced by a farm in the province of Toledo.

NUBES ENMARCADAS, 2023

Used some elements there along the north rim of the Grand Canyon for this composition.

#fujiwalkaarhus2019 - From a photo walk on a very rainy day with members of two Danish Facebook groups - October 26, 2019.

Framed by the Ribblehead Viaduct that is, and taken last summer on our Yorkshire Dales trip.

penultimate in this week's Framed theme. An unusual Holographic Image mounted in and framed by a recess at Beaulieu House, Hampshire, UK. I don't know how it was done but it is behind a pane of glass and presents a 3D image. With dust and reflected light it was photographically challenging - well for me anyway.

Watson's Mill in Manotick is a fully operational 1860's water powered grist and flour mill.... stil selling stone ground whole wheat flour made on site. The greenery framing it here is what caught my eye.

The Parliament Building in Victoria framed with pink blossoms.
