The side frames will un-mount from the hoop strut, via an M6 bolt through this sleeve -- which will later be cut apart.

I finally got a good shot of this frame! It's going to get wrapped up tomorrow and heading out on Tuesday! Yay!
All the pieces for the frame are cut, placements are marked and pilot holes drilled in the side panels.
I installed this one, but holding it in place while driving the nails was difficult. I think I will re-do this one and drill pilot holes in the frame piece through the side panel pilot holes to reduce shifting while nailing.
This is my "photography blind". It's one of the blinds I hope to use this spring to snap some frames of wild turkeys. This was from this past Friday. At first everthing was frozen, but then about noon it started getting warmer (low 40's) and almost too hot. I didn't see any turkeys this past weekend. I heard them, everywhere around me in the woods. But I knew it was too early to see them. I wanted to get out there in the cold, with my new 40D, and tripod from eBay, to see how I, and the camera, would do in the freezing cold. Amazingly the camera was just fine. I had to "learn myself" on how not to breath directly on the LCD. And as I was moving the camera around, I had to be sure the lense wasn't too near me or my breath, otherwise it'd get condensation too. Oh, and a baseball cap makes great protection for the camera (in a quick pinch) when the ceiling starts dripping water from the condensation because the temperature goes above 32. Talk about frantic! When I saw the water all over my 70-200 I nearly had a heart attack.
