Siemon’s MAX mounting frames provide a solution for installing MAX or Z-MAX outlets in an environment where electrical Duplex or Designer style faceplates are desired. They are compatible with any Duplex or Designer style faceplate. The mounting ears can also be detached and used as spacers between the frames and mounting boxes.
Purse-frame (late C19th) & Purse with metal frame (1850-1900)
Frames are often the only parts to survive from Medieval bags thanks to the durability of metal. These objects were originally believed to be from 15th-century bags designed to be suspended from a belt. We now know they are 19th-century remakes with historical features such as towers and buildings typical of the architecture of an earlier time.

Bags: Inside Out
(July - January 2022)
Bags: Inside Out is the UK's most comprehensive exhibition dedicated to the ultimate accessory. With an exclusive look inside the world of the factory and atelier, this exhibition explores our longstanding fascination with the bag, from designer handbags to despatch boxes, vanity cases to military rucksacks.
Bags project bold statements to the outside world whilst concealing our most treasured belongings. Featuring around 300 objects, varying in scale from tiny purses held on a fingertip to luxurious travel trunks, the exhibition explores the function, status and craftsmanship of these highly covetable objects from the 16th century to today.
The first section of the exhibition examines bags as practical objects designed to hold our belongings – from holiday outfits to confidential documents, make-up to money and even gas masks.
Titled Status and Identity, the second of the exhibition sections looks at the central role of the bag in celebrity culture as well as its notoriety amongst the political and societal elite.
The use of bags as a blank canvas for slogans, personal statements and political messages and their role as a public platform to share beliefs and convictions is represented through objects including an anti-slavery reticule bag from 1825, the 'I am NOT a Plastic Bag' tote by Anya Hindmarch and a 'My Body My Business' handbag by artist and activist Michele Pred.
The final section of the show will look at the Design and Making process from sketch to sample, sewing to selling. A 'maker's table' will allow visitors to get up close with bag making processes and materials, alongside newly commissioned interviews with designers and makers.
A hotbed for collaboration, the bag offers an opportunity for experimentation and statement designs. A 17th-century purse in the shape of a frog, Thom Browne's handbag in the form of his dog Hector and a Chanel bag transformed into a milk carton will explore the surrealism and humour evoked through accessories.
The exhibition finishes with designers experimenting with innovative and environmentally sustainable materials.

We salvaged every piece of comb we could and held it in place with rubber bands. Then we placed the frames in supers. We ended up with two supers filled with 20 frames. Most of the bees were back in the hive by the time we were done. We did have some casualties, about 10 bees =(, but they didn't sting us =).

San Francisco: downtown architecture by night
An excellent example of an enframed window wall surmounted by an implied masonry office shaft. While typical of many downtown combined office/retail buildings in having a tripartite vertical divsion, the facade in the first two floors is largely glass in five equally spaced bays. In floors 3 to 5 the principal material is masonry with a shift to three equally spaced bays housing paired windows. At the sixth floor a handsome termination is achieved by the introduction of a six-bay, arched loggia under a dentilated cornice. Together with the kohler and chase building the Zobel frames the Security Pacific Bank/ Savings Union building at the corner and presents a fine view from Market Street. - San Francisco Property Information Map

An ongoing project of curating original art work in the public space. Members of the collective send framed works to one artist, and that artist installs the works on the streets.

When my ones got stolen in the mugging, I got a two-for-one deal on a replacement pair. The other ones are my favourite prop :)
I took these shots from the car and tried to get as close to accurate as possible so I could make a panorama shot....not sure if I like it.
Specialized frames all from the same era, acquired at completely different times. The Rockhopper Comp I bought for $30.00 at a police auction, mainly for the components. The 1989 Stumpjumper Team was my 3rd mountain bike ever, having purchased it used, probably in 1991, ridden to death, and only recently stripped down to possibly rebuild. The orange bike is Hardrock from a dumpster that I stripped and painted orange, and may soon be another commuter for me.
