At the big Sunday fleamarket in Madrid.

Apparently it's the largest in Europe, but I must admit it didn't seem all that great to me. Maybe I needed to be there right at the crack of dawn.

Usually poems are printed as vertical rectangular frames. This form is shared by poetry and photography, which has, in addition, also a horizontal framework. Either way the photographer and the poet are faced with the same problem - how to arrange what they have to say in the form of a rectangle. One of my favorite subjects is to photograph framed things. The viewer is generally concentrated in the photographed frame and less notices the photo frame which frames it.

Playing with the Shorty frame, especially the legs.

I ended up with none of the frames that I had picked out online and instead got a nice pair of Ralph Lauren's. I'm very satisfied with my choice. They were just what I was looking for!

This frame is made of stamped polymer clay tiles that have been treated with a patina to show off the gorgeous textures.

My frames randomly broke today, i guess it was good i was in the maket looking for new ones anyway. I made an emergency run to "4 Your Eyes Only" in Wallingford and bought two new frames, one updated set of lenses

With a piece of 1/16" material glued to the outfeed side (and using a straight bit), the fence acts as a jointer to trim the ends of the frames.
