An ongoing project of curating original art work in the public space. Members of the collective send framed works to one artist, and that artist installs the works on the streets.
Every Sunday artists display their works in the Jardin del Arte in Parque Sullivan in Mexico City. Vendors also come to sell art supplies, like these picture frames

I got these pictures/frames at TJ Maxx for only $3.00 each. I'm addicted to prints and having them framed at craft stores costs a fortune! I don't have a mat cutter yet so I buy these frames on sale and just use whatever mat is included. Some of them have pictures or paintings included.. I just rip out the back and replace what is in there with my own stuff. Most of these picture/frame costs less than buying an empty frame in craft stores.
I like black or dark brown frames and antique finish too.

9/365 9th Jan 10. A quick and simple on today. I've been wanting to put some of my photos up around the house so I've been trying to decide which ones will look the best. These are the frames for them.
A while ago, Bérengère and I went to Antwerp to hunt for new frames. We were randomly trying on those we liked.
Blue Angel Day 2014 - For the first time since 2010, the Blue Angels and Fat Albert performed for USNA Commissioning Week in Annapolis, Maryland. Bridges, roads and waterways were closed, windows rattled in their frames and a wonderful time was had by all. It was great to welcome them back.
The axis of the performance follows the Severn River which has, more or less, an East/West orientation. The "main stage" is the USNA seawall along the Severn. The Angles begin their turns on the western end just above where I was standing. They are near-by for a fraction of a second. There are tall poplars behind me so it is not possible to capture the angles when they come from the western end but we see them overhead and as they approach the Naval Academy. We also see them briefly when they depart to the West.
Skies were mostly flat gray for both the practice day and the performance. Still it was good to see them back. We'll hope for Angels and blue skies for next year!

This is the hand quilting frame hanging from the ceiling in my quilting/sewing studio, it is lowered with pulleys and ropes when needed.
