A quick Halloween Idea! Last week at King of Prussia Mall, I saw a shadow box w/faux bugs in it as decor. $125 to $150 each. I made my version using a recycled frame, sheet of scrapbook paper and rubber/plastic critters, dab of hot glue. My price $2.25. Two found frames which were on the film in the Agfamatic 200 Sensor camera in week 457 of my 52 film cameras in 52 weeks project:

The film is TruPrint branded ISO 200 colour neagtive, it was in the camera when I found it at a car boot sale for £1. There were six exposure left, so I finished them off before processing it in the Tetenal C41 kit.

FRAMES is a bookcase that consists of five layers of plywood. The frames have different sizes and depths, so that for any size book is an appropriate place.
The cabinet can be stand alone in the room.
Other wood species, sizes and frame formats desired are possible.

Die Ausstellung bietet einen Blick auf den zunehmend verschwimmenden Grenzbereich zwischen dem, was traditionell als Fotokunst betrachtet wird, und dem Bereich der digitalen Schöpfung. Die gezeigten Darstellungen menschlicher Interaktion mit Bildern betonen die essenzielle Rolle des Betrachters. Sie verdeutlichen, dass der Akt des Betrachtens und Interagierens mit Kunst integral für deren Bedeutung ist. Wes wird die Frage gestellt: "Was ist in ienem Bild 'real'?"
Sind die Betrachter im Bild „realer“ als das Bild im Bild? Wie „real“ sind imaginierte Interaktionen und Stimmungen im Bild? Spielt der Entstehungsweg des Bildes eine Rolle für das Bild im Kopf des Betrachters?
Vielleicht sehen Sie sich vor Ihrem geistigen Auge sogar selbst als Bild eines Betrachters, der ein Bild betrachtet, in welchem ein Betrachter ein Bild betrachtet.

The inscription states that this work was made in response to the wishes and prayers of Murillo's children. The flexible 'stone' upon which the inscription is 'carved' makes me think of the surrealists - plus multiple frames and a Parapetto - what more could you wish for?

It was so hard to take this pic. I still couldn’t get it the way I actually wanted it. I gave up. LOL.
I couldn’t figure out how to show my face and it always covered at least one eye.
Whatever.
Usually poems are printed as vertical rectangular frames. This form is shared by poetry and photography, which has, in addition, also a horizontal framework. Either way the photographer and the poet are faced with the same problem - how to arrange what they have to say in the form of a rectangle. One of my favorite subjects is to photograph framed things. The viewer is generally concentrated in the photographed frame and less notices the photo frame which frames it.
