Introducing Ernestine, another one of my full size assemblage robot (i've really do enjoy fabricating the larger pieces). This metal maiden is currently on display down at our local Community Center along with a collection of pieces from the artist guild I belong to. Top down - Aluminum ground wire, antique ceiling light fixture, aluminum water carafe, antique hot/cold faucet knobs, large coffee grounds basket , vintage coffee urn (Ernestine...get it?), Harley Davidson fender supports, industrial light reflector, super long candle stick holders, go kart hubs. That's a turn buckle between her legs...I needed to anchored her to a 24" round steel plate to ensure that the little ones wouldn't topple her...kids love to play with the sculptures. Stands 5' tall

While waiting for the photoshoot for my big object (the '32 Ford roadster), and working on a big junkart Batman bike, I couldn't resist doing this small trike. Hope you like it!

Mixed materials, approx. 50cm tall, 13cm wide and 15cm high.

Materials used: vintage hand drill, industrial caster, chess pawn, inline skatewheel and some other bits and pieces…

The idea for his still life was that it should use wooden layout, drawing and painting tools. The objects include: old wooden carpenter's squares, winding rods (with multiple name stamps) and a massive mahogany try square.

Buzz

One of the original cut-ups Buzz always maintains his edge (ouch)! Assembled from parts off of both column A and column B - vintage test box, screen door handle, old truck emblem, movie reels valve knobs, glass fuses, aluminum junction box, and, oh yes, saw blade. With Buzz there are no dull moments.

Here's the entry which I created for a local recycled art show, Scrap2Sculpt Recycling Sculpture Contest...UPDATE - Crane wins first place!...I assembled it using an aluminum coffee percolator, automobile flywheel, salad tongs, car window dampers, roller skate axle, shoe stretchers, mini blinds, flashlight housing, meat grinder handle and a lemon squeezer. Fashioned after the Common Crane (Grus grus), also known as the Eurasian Crane, a bird of the family Gruidae, the cranes. (sounds all "brainy" as I took this from wick-o-pedeeAHH), she stands 41" tall x 24" wide x 12" deep.

Simpson (11”)

Don’t get amped up...Simpson’s here. Carefully monitoring whatever it is he monitors this bot quietly instills confidence and, well...peace of mind. Don’t you just feel better knowing that...I sure do. Construction features solid-state-body (and mind), clear- gear vision & stable bike brake arms.

This some functional art furniture that I made. It's a camera lamp with a slide lampshade. What do you think? There are more for sale if anyone is interested.

Emma’s bot

Simply a see’s candy tin, a copper kitchen scoop, a pair of open end wrenches and a heart of gold…well, of copper. I crafted this litte guy for someone very special, my daughter, Emma. She has allowed me to show her bot but will never, every be for sale.

Sea Turtle - 26" flipper to flipper, 23" nose to tail. Child's play iron, "chicken feet" radio knobs, old Christmas tree base, STOP sign, vintage roller skates.

Spot Weld (9”)

See Spot weld?! maybe not, but run and fetch are definite possibilities. This “man’s best friend” is made up of an old utility flashlight, pressure valve snout, drawer-pull ears, copper perforated legs finished off with stainless steel “paws”. Lifting his tail accesses a secure storage location.

Woof!

Tired of spending your money on all of those useless devices supposedly designed to help you "break 100"? Do you want to shave strokes off your game, without spending endless hours at the range? Well, good luck, cuz Robo Golfer won't help you with any of those common golf maladies. What our aluminized duffer will do is hold your spare change (just drop the coins in the spout on his chest) and caddy you favorite writing interments via his securely rear-mount golf bag. With batteries not provided, Robo Golfer's head will also light your way if you find yourself out on the course after dark. I created this one-of-a-kind sculpture utilizing a vintage coffee pot, motorcycle clutch/brake levers, hacksaw handle, a couple of flashlights, an old patio umbrella pole and two automotive oil pump housings. I hope you enjoy my found-object tribute to the game we all love.

Access

…ories is constructed from a salvaged aluminum sewing machine tool kit box. His head is a electronic switch and his feet are water valves. He may look dated but has been completely modernized with an ultra-hitech computer board inside.

A collection of my junk pieces. Waiting in a curious traffic jam...

A short film featuring a line-up with objects, made for an exhibition next March.
