These art dolls made from recycled upholstery samples and filled with plastic grocery bags are ready to go to Chicago's Irish American Heritage Center for a special art exhibit celebrating Earth Day. The exhibit, "Redone" is from Saturday April 18 to Sunday May 3 and exhibits art made from found and recycled materials. coffee pot knob, aluminum lab beaker, sewing bobbins, measuring spoon, flash light reflector, aluminum cylinder filter, bicycle brake lever and arms, Erector set girder and luggage tag...not sure what the wheels came off of. 27" long x 9.5 tall.

I created this rusty kitchen scale, cheese grater, electric hand drill handle, bicycle fender, roller skate, vegetable steamer, ash tray airplane for an upcoming local show, Fine Art Base's Found Object Art Contest - www.fineartbase.org/. I found staying within the 12" x 12" x 12" size requirements the toughest part!?
With support from the Monterey County Board of Supervisors, Fine Art Base offers subsidized studio rentals for young emerging artists in the Monterey Bay area.
1946 Electrolux vacuum cleaner - this baby worked like a charm before I cannibalized it...I know, I'm heartless!

Take flight with this airborne assemblage. From it's 50's Roadmaster faux bicycle tank "fuselage", aluminum fan blade and retired bed frame "dual-lies" wheels this baby's ready to go. Aluminum flash light "power plant", drilled-out fan blades and an antique children's tin washing machine agitator serve as it's tail wing....into the wild blue yonder!

I created this especially for the discerning hotrod/garage junkie on your xmas list who has everything. 9" x 16", three heavy duty hooks included...you could hang an engine block on this thing.
