The inner tube and bicycle chain links are stitched to an encyclopedia cover with thin red wire from an electric motor.

Repurposed cardboard tubes, flattened and stitched together for substrate; recycled plastic credit cards, community sourced single use plastic caps stitched with sequins and seed beads; mounted to linen wrapped canvas board. 12" x 16", 2023

na na na na na na naaaaaaaa na Katamari Damacy...

 

My friend Beth (http://ryumia.deviantart.com) created the polymer clay katamari on the far left. In size order there is a die, maki tuna roll (also by Beth), banana, badminton shuttle, coca-cola bottle, pineapple, ladie's shoe, buddha statue, motorbike, and gymnast.

 

The lucky new owner of this OOAK bracelet was thrilled, I hope the king approves of her katamari, but it is probably too small to be made into a star.

3:25 PM Observations: nonmetal appears rusted? metal appears strange shade of vertigris

3:45PM Unknown purpose - mechanical movement frozen; seems to have suffered from water table
