While this caged bird may not sing, she sure looks cute on her mechanical perch. In fact, Button is the perfect subject for easily distracted birdwatchers. It's almost like she never moves!
But whether you're a birdwatcher, a bird lover, or even just a passer-by, who can resist little Button in her cog-lined cage? This chickadee is great company and, I'd say, pretty low maintenance.
Plus, for those of you who like to put a little aside for a rainy day, Button is the perfect nest egg! Simply unscrew her head and stash away in her plump little body. Utter perfection!

As a thank you to those of you who have been posting nice comments or encouraging me in my found object doodling, I've created a slideshow of some of the found object doodles I've created over the past six months.
Potential art is everywhere.
This little tanker truck is made from a gum tin, wood, checkers, thumbtacks and wire. Stamped into the metal side of the truck is 'lots-O-love'. the back door opens!
