The Fluttering Stone imitates a struggling or egg laying stonefly and is irresistable to big fish. Trout will often feed on stoneflies until they are absolutely full so it pays to hit the hatch just as it begins and follow the big flies upstream as the hatch progresses.

Flutter Sputter

Land of the Dragons, Rhinefeld, Germany hamlet, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Williamsburg, VA

The Flutter Sputter is an aerial carouse ride in Land of the Dragons, where children sit in dragons and control the height of the dragons as they spin around, similar to the airplanes ride in Oktoberfest. It opened with the area on April 2nd, 1994.

Butterfly in Flight from the New York Botanical Gardens - This was a shot I REALLY deserved! He was fast, and about 7 feet away. I had to zoom in and out to keep him in my viewfinder. I shot this at a perfect moment (with his wings fully open) YA!

A perfect day at the palace

The night was getting dark, we took a few of these of me throwing leaves into the air with the flash effect. I think the leaves look like orgami cranes.

See bokchoyboy's version. I kinda perfer this one because I think my hands look more welcoming and natural.

Just wanted to get some closer shots of the face up, its pretty suibtle but natural light makes all the difference. :) Face up by me.

Foxy by Proxy show @ Franks North Star...

Journalling reads:

Here you were waiting for your first public ballet performance. You were dressed like a cute little blue butterfly, dancing to the theme song, "Dancing in the Air" by Celtic Woman.

My gosh, you were both nervous and excited at the same time. From your facial expression, I guessed the butterflies in your stomach must be fluttering wildly in anticipation.

Somehow, when it was your turn, all the nervousness seem to disappear and you were superb, dancing and fluttering gracefully like a butterfly in the air.

We are proud of you.
