No, really, that is what members of the Diptera family Pallopteridae are called: Flutter flies. This one is Toxonevra superba. It waves its boldly-marked wings alternately as it walks. Leavenworth, Kansas, USA, November 3, 2022.

Begin lying on back with hands under bottom. Legs are out straight, together and toes pointed. Tighten core, push lower back against the ground. Lift both legs 2-3 inches off ground and alternate raising and lowering the legs (without allowing them to touch the ground).
Key points:
-Keep legs straight and toes pointed.
-Kicks should be small.

I love butterflies, and so does she. It's only natural that I make a pair of butterfly wings. They've been previewed before, but in ManikaManila's market, and not on photographs. :)
