This cute little ghostly Halloween fluff is hoping to find a new place to haunt.

This fluff is the "runt size" so he's a bit smaller than the regular fluffs.

He is about 2.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide.

He's made of a white faux fur.

His face was hand painted by me using artist quality acrylics and sealed with a matte varnish.

Pocket Fluffs are able to stand on their own. :)

While out 'shooting' fall colors in the pasture, one young mule...Sundance would not leave me alone. She walked through milkweed pods and they burst open spreading 'fluff'!!!

As a practical example of the technique I blogged about yesterday ( ankhphotography.net/…/…/black-backgrounds-in-daylight ) I took this shot, handheld, in my garden yesterday evening.

I have been trying to get a photo of a perfectly intact dandelion seedhead for a while now, so when I saw this one in the garden I dropped what I was doing and grabbed the camera.

One of the fluffiest male Bluebirds I've ever seen...........and it's TIME for them to come to Idaho, any day now, since we have such unseasonably warm weather already this year. Photo here was taken in late Spring of 2014.

This little custom micro fluff was loosely based off Chewbacca :)

Fluff is even fluffier now that Winter is almost here.

A cuddle of fluffs just in time for Christmas!

Someone ripped the fluff out of a pillow, the back yard looked like a snow storm had hit!

neary fly away~

Not much time for a photo today, so luckily Lulu was cooperative and gave me her cutest face for a quick photo during a pause in D&D. I'd wanted to take a D&D still life today but I'm way too tired to set something up now. Maybe tomorrow!

There are a variety of reasons a bird will fluff out its feathers. I watched this one for a couple of minutes, and his feathers were fluffed out the whole time.

A great location I will visit again, a large shallow loch with a wooded island on the outskirts of Glasgow.

Best seen Large on black - Press L

A decadent peanut butter mixture forms the crust to these outrageous bars. The dough was a little sticky for me, so I used some plastic wrap to help press the base into the pan. Once patted down, a multitude of the gooey fluff is spread on. Unsalted peanuts scatter the top, followed by a smattering of bittersweet chocolate chips. This is baked until the fluff starts to puff up and has an ever-so-light golden hue on top. As it cools, the middle slowly deflates to allow you to see how the sides of the crust explode upwards to leave a dramatic rim around the bars. I was afraid to try and cut these into squares thinking that the marshmallow would ruin the idea of clean cuts - but I was quite surprised to see how easy it was to cut them.

The rich base has a strong peanut butter flavor which help to cut the sweetness of the fluff. Crunchy nuts add texture and another dimension of peanut flavor - and just because the combo of chocolate and peanut butter is so good, how could you not throw on the chips?
