Met Toxiccherrygirl today at the weekly Austin meet-up and we figured we would get a picture - what else?

We speculated that with the meeting of 2 desktops, Irish's head was probably exploding somewhere .

On this shot, the only thing I changed off camera was a tiny bit of lighting adjustment on picasa.

Yesterday I spent a great day in NYC.

I was part of the "epic" (yes, we are going with that designation) flickr meet up.

NY, NJ, DC, MA, CT, PA and the UK were represented.

How we all managed to get out of work, life and home responsibilities on the same day is still the most amazing part.

we had awful wet weather - hence the umbrella bokeh

but all was happy - hence the happy subway fence.

Even if the photos I took came out a bit wonky...a wet day in NYC with friends is better than a sunny day spent in the office.

A bunch of us flickr freaks are going to Yosemite this weekend. The trip has been in the works for months and it's finally upon us. And the weather, the roads and the government look like they're going to cooperate. Yeah! I took this shot of El Capitan last year at the same time.

To all my buddies who are going to be there -- we can't wait to meet up with you all. And to everybody else, I wish you all could come too.
