This was tricky to get. Luke didn't want to cooperate with me and after many...many attempts he FINALLY walked toward me stepping into the sunlight casting on the floor.
To make matters worse, I used my Samsung Galaxy S7 and shot RAW to have somewhat flexible dynamic range but phones are still pretty limited so a bit of his fur is blown out but I still like it!

I am always amazed at the enormous flexibility that these birds have.
I don't think I would be able to achieve those neck movements even if I trained for it.

FLEXIBILIDAD DE CUELLO, 2024
Siempre me maravilla observar la enorme flexibilidad que tienen estas aves.
Yo creo que no conseguiría esos movimientos de cuello ni entrenándome para ello.

I'm surprisingly flexible.
This was easy to edit, just two photos masked together.
The hard part was taking a photo of myself laying on the ground, in focus, in frame, and without squinting my eyes (while staring straight into the sun). Inspired by a photo I found on Instagram, though I forgot to screen-cap it so I don't know the photographer's name.
Eagle emblem on the most ornate and largest sl;ed I have eve seen. It was as tall as the beams acrtoss the ceiling and looked to hold maybe 4 or 5 people
The tree bending so that there will be another view of the Metro Manila skyline in the Philippines during sunset.
The 0-4-4T Forney locomotives that were frequently used on Maine's 2-foot railroads were designed to run equally well forward or backward at the head of a train. In this shot, we see the Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum's Locomotive #10 demonstrating that flexibility as she runs north through the private crossing at Jayne's Way with a passenger train during the 2008 "Victorian Christmas" event.
