This week's Macro Mondays challenge: "flexible"
This is a CO2 purge hose for clogged hvac condensate lines.
I was dealing with bad light here on another dark day, but loving the flexibility of this hooded merganser as she preened. Siskiyou County, California

The brush body is 1" W, the tip of the brush is 1.5" W. Total image is 2" W.
HMM…..Lots of variations of this— It is the one that hasn’t “lost” the links and clasp and is just about 2 inches across. There are/will be other possibilities for MM but I like this for its simplicity and the red heart ❤️ .

One of my attempts at the "Macro Mondays" theme "flexibles".
Small part of a silicone brush.
Shot with a Fuji "Fujinon-EFC II 64.5 mm F 6" (enlarging) lens on a Canon EOS R5.
The berries on this tree were harder to remove from the stem than the fruit on other trees. Contorting like this and then straightening up, while holding on to the berry, provides a bit of extra torque to twist the fruit off.

“If you can’t be flexible in life, you become irritable with life.” - Rubyanne. Happy Tree- mendous Tuesday!
Taken on 08.10.17 for the group #MacroMondays - theme #sidelit
A small sea shell lit from the side using a 12 x flat chip cool white LED mini flexible desk lamp and a cardboard toilet roll tube to concentrate the light. Unfortunately I could not find an empty toilet roll tube so had to use the full roll however this did help in positioning the light where I wanted it holding both the desk lamp steady and keeping it in the direction pointed 😄
Taken using a Panasonic DMC FZ200 in Macro mode.

Lies are like balloons - once you cross the flexibilities, it will bust! Let's not our truth hide behind the #flexibles of lies!
The short lived experiment that was TFW's Class 769 is illustrated here as 769008 crosses Newport Road after leaving Queen Street station back in March.
Stretching is critical to many with injuries, and to athletes who want to avoid injuries. This is a small part of a flexible exercise band being stretched against the blue of another band. HMM!
By the time I had a chance to take today's image, the strong morning breeze had dissipated considerably, but with a long exposure the slight movement of the more flexible upper tree branches was just sufficient.
Day 26 of Pentax Forum's Daily in March 2018 Challenge
(Theme: Movement).
Specifically, this is a "Flexible Massage & Slicker Brush" for your cat--whatever that is. The bristles span 1.5-inches.
Strobist and technical info:
The bristles were placed face-down on a piece of black reflective acrylic. The brush was illuminated by two Nikon SB900 and one SB700 speedlights. The SB900's were positioned 90-degrees CL and CR, 2-feet away and 1-foot above subject, aiming down at 45-degree angles. They were each fired through Neewer 24" x 24" soft boxes. The CL strobe was placed in Manual mode and fired @ 1⁄4 power; the CR strobe was also in Manual mode and fired @ 1⁄8 power. The SB700 had a Gary Fong 5th Gen Lightsphere attached and was positioned 20-degrees CR and slightly above camera level. It was fired in Manual Mode @ 1⁄4 power. The red LED of a Coast TX10 Quad Color flashlight, handheld between the camera and SB700, was shone on the subject's reflection for a 0.6-sec. exposure.
The SB900's were triggered by three PocketWizard Plus X's; the SB700 was placed in SU-4 mode and was triggered by the other flashes.

Macro Mondays
Theme: Flexible
Date: June 20, 2022
Note: My first, more colorful, submission was deleted from the Macro Mondays group per rule # 6. I am not sure this is the exact photo from which my submission was done but it was same time, place, with same straws and cropped appropriately. The first one was not layered, not a composite image, and not one using HDR or Multiple Exposure. Exposure settings might have given the impression it was layered, etc. Hopefully, this will meet the guidelines for today's theme. I used the Painting In-camera setting on my Nikon D5600 for my first entry.. Plastic Flexible Straws.
