This advanced heavy assault fighter has an arched, flexible plasma lance, a large 2,500,000 VAC shield generator, and heavy tungsten steel armor. A GP-cannon apparatus is mounted below the cockpit and two fusion engines are mounted on the back, these allow it to reach speeds of about Mach 8, even with the heavy armor.
In December 2308, two years after Chad Watson crashed on ACX-5, TERRA (Terran Empire Rebel Resistance Alliance) scientists still have not discovered the secret to the plasma engines found on the Mantis One, but have successfully reconstructed the GP (Gauss-Plasma) cannons and created a plasma lance, a magnetic apparatus that controls plasma and fires it at high speeds. Ten Scorpions have been built until this point, four make up the Lambda wing of Rhino squad, six more are distributed amongst Sigma and Beta wings of the same Rhino Squad. They have so far been used in three successful raids and they will soon become part of TERRA's planned attack on Europa.
This specific fighter is Lambda One, leader of Lambda wing of Rhino squadron.
