**Thank you so much for all the views! Comments and critiques are very welcome!**

This is from "Circus Abyssinia: Ethiopian Dreams" which is part of the Underbelly Circus Hub on The Meadows.

The lighting was a bit purple at this point (rarely a good look), but it scrubs up niccely a a black and white shot. 😎

My thanks are due to Kate Bouchier-Hayes from The Corner Shop PR, for arranging my access.

About 7 blocks away from the Chestnut West Target Flex is this second Target Flex. Both stores were opened within the last year. They fill a void left downtown since the Big Kmart (former Clover) in the Gallery Mall closed in 2014.

This 19,000 sq. ft. store is located across 2 buildings. The building on the right (closest in this picture) has been here for decades; the building on the left is new. Actually, everything to the left of the older building is all one big building, made to look like individual builds, but Target only occupies a portion. While it sucks that they demolished the cool, art-deco building that sat where the building with the bullseye is, the rest of the street was quite blighted and this development makes much better use of the space.

This Target Flex is all on one level and fits a CVS pharmacy, a Starbucks and the normal Target Flex departments--Market, Apparel, Health & Beauty, Home, Baby and Tech (electronics). Like all the Target Flex stores, "order pickup" is touted on the outside of the building.

Having Hypermobility isn't a good thing...my tendons are loose and weaker because of it.

Finally found a way to make those annoying flex tracks even more useful, at the expense of increasing their already high decibel level......

An eastbound DC Streetcar is seen crossing traffic on H St to switch from the median to the right lane. The traffic signals here are preempted, meaning the streetcar gets priority over vehicular traffic so that it can make this maneuver without worrying about cross traffic.

I learned in August, that Bristol is one of the cities in the country with a Circus School - Circomedia. A few of its students took part in a photo-shoot at Ashton Court organised by the Bristol Group Shoots Facebook group.

It was very impressive to see them perform!

"Being flexible means nothing if you don't have balance. Balance, and a sturdy platform.

I've got the balance.

But you're not strong enough to be my platform."

Whoever sent me this is brilliant.

I broke this table doing this.

I'm actually cloned onto it.

What a waste...

I think it's important to see the interior of the house without furnishings, because this is the basic floor space that is in all of the houses that would, theoretically, be lined up side-by-side down the street. There is a large open-plan space on the first floor which can accomodate many different rooms that blend into each other.

A spiral staircase in the corner leads down to the basement floor (half sunk into the ground), where there is a flexible layout with windows looking out onto the street and a staircase leading into the garden behind the house.

Following on from some comments on another posting about the inconvenience of the 'artificial' breaks in the line at Ormskirk and Ellesmere Port due to the limits of electrification, I thought I'd post this shot.

The train is a Bombardier diesel-electric hybrid on Brittany Regional Rail at Landernau, which works the route from Brest to Quiberon. On the Brest-Paris line it runs off the overhead cables, but on the Quiberon branch, which isn't electrified, the diesel engine kicks in. Trains such as this could provide direct services between Liverpool and Helsby or Liverpool and Deeside or even Wrexham.

...That shows a little bit of how "flexible" I can be! It also shows off my legs in a different way too! ...Not to mention my other assets!

Last June while my friends & I were at Baltimore's Club Hippo, and in between my taking shots of them, I was fortunate enough to have a few pix taken of me wearing this lovely black & silver lycra spandex minidress! OTAN/NATO * AIRBUS A330-243 MRTT * T-054 * SEVILLA-SAN PABLO (SVQ/LEZL) * MULTINATIONAL MULTI-ROLE TANKER AND TRANSPORT FLEET (MMF)

The newest NSPA multinational programme, the Multinational Multi-Role Tanker and Transport Fleet (MMF), stands out as a unique example of successful cooperation among NATO and EU Agencies and nations, enabling participating nations to be flexible and to rapidly respond to emergencies in multiple capability domains.

The MMF, managed by the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) with the strong support of the Organisation for Joint Armament Cooperation (OCCAR), under the ownership of NATO and operated by an international unit, will provide its six participating nations (Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Luxembourg, Norway and the Netherlands) with strategic tanker and transport capabilities.

The Netherlands and Luxembourg initially launched the programme in July 2016, with The Netherlands as the lead nation for the project. Germany and Norway joined in 2017, Belgium followed in early 2018 and Czech Republic lastly joined the MMF programme in October 2019.

Based on the participating nations requirements, eight Airbus A330 MRTT aircraft were procured by OCCAR, on behalf of NSPA. These state of the art aircraft are configured for a variety of missions, from air-to-air refueling (both boom and hose and drogue), to troop transport, VIP transport, cargo/freight transport and they can also be re-configured for aeromedical evacuation.

The 111 tonnes basic fuel capacity enables the aircraft to excel in air-to-air refueling missions without the need for any additional fuel tanks. Moreover it can provide, a maximum fuel flow rate of approximately 2,200 litres a minute, using a boom and a hose and drogue mechanism, can quickly fuel all of the aircraft in inventory with the MMF nations ( F-16, F-35, C-17, Eurofighters, Tornado and Gripen ) and most of the other aircraft used within NATO.

NSPA's role as MMF System Manager

To satisfy the mission assigned by the MMF participants, NSPA created the MMF System Management Office, with the objective of acquiring, managing and supporting the fleet of MRTT aircraft and related assets.

The involvement of other Agencies was key to the success of the MMF initiative. The European Defence Agency (EDA) played a critical role in the early stages of the programme and the close cooperation with OCCAR is still essential during the acquisition phase.

The many actors involved in the success of the MMF act under the direction and supervision of the NSPA's MMF System Manager, who manages and coordinates the programme of behalf of the nations. The core team of the MMF is based at the NSPA headquarters in Capellen (Luxembourg) but others provide support from other locations (Eindhoven, Cologne-Wahn, Bonn and Getafe).

This organization is unique in the Agency and could be a template for other initiatives in the future, aiming at procuring complex weapon systems for NATO Nations through a cooperative approach.

The MMF aircraft is led by an international MMF Military Unit based in two permanent locations in Eindhoven (The Netherlands) and Cologne-Wahn (Germany), with the capacity to deploy for short and long assignments globally, in support of national tasks, NATO, the EU and other multi-national commitments. The MMF Initiative is still open to new partners and is expected to grow in the near future. Following the guidance received from the MMF Nations, NSPA actively seeks cooperation with other MRTT users around the world to enhance opportunities and maximize the positive synergies identified in the programme.
