I can't believe it's October already - there's a distinct nip in the air as winter marches ever closer. The hedgerows are laden with berries, perhaps as a response to the summer drought. Shame the squirrels have had all the hazelnuts - might be able to scrounge a few walnuts, if I’m lucky. We'll see…
Important during these difficult times :-)
Flatlay still life with old spoon and frozen peas...light painted with a single torch.
We can’t wait until to tomorrow to say HAPPY EASTER! (But we will say it tomorrow, too!)
This Blythe doll is Simply Guava wearing a dress from Endangered Sissy.
To be honest I was stumped for today, so I reverted to my favorite - a flat lay. Metal is hard for me, I hate all the reflections and colors that pop in, so I converted it to B&W (is that considered alchemy??) Who knows, but it's done! :)

The coolest part of the day is early morning. The local high school schedules their graduation exercises outdoors at 8:00 am. Gates open at 6:30, so I came prepared with a breakfast protein bar, a small collapsible umbrella, and a good book to read. There were 599 candidates for graduation, and the ceremony was over by 9:00 am before the temperature had risen above 85°F. Stadium seating is not very comfortable. Happy Bench Monday

One of my many hobbies is jewelry making, earrings, bracelets, etc. These are some of the materials and tools that I use to create "pretty things". This photo technique is called a Flat Lay.
Wishing everyone a very Hoppy Happy Easter.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

18/52 {Seasons 2019} My Diary
Aceptamos pulpo??

When WFH becomes WFB
I've succumbed to the cold with a nasty cough that is going the rounds.
Glad to have a job that I can do from the comfort of my bed!

I so wish I had used different colored letters but I used what I had available. I have had this concept floating around in my head for quite some time now and luckily for me, much of the pasta in this shot was on sale at the store last night. I could spend hours cleaning up the white specks that the pasta leaves on the surface but really it's not worth it because I'm not in love with the letters. Imagine what your pastabilities are and bring them to reality today!
I was baking cheese and poppy seed biscuits yesterday and thought I'd create this...
Have a lovely Friday.
I'm on an Italian Cookery Course today, I will making and baking Panattone and all types of Italian Sweet Breads, so have a great day and I will catch up with you all soon as I will be in a hot and busy but, very sweet Italian kitchen on my feet for about 7 hours.... I will sleep well tonight...

Crazy Tuesday theme - Knolling
I had never heard of the term knolling before so this was quite a challenge for me. I went with purple & pink tones for it from my sewing accessories.
Also it's photo 6/30 for my April project
AAW February 10 - 17: Square Format
WIT: I thought I'd try a layflat still life in a square format. Took the picture, and in post, cropped to square, and got rid of some spots and increased the saturation. Then I ate the blueberries, and used the lemons for my martini.
