A couple of internal shots today. Mrs Nikonsnapper used to collect (still does), antique household stuff. This is one of a pair of old flat irons she bought and painted.

The Flat Creek Ranch is eligible for the National Register of Historic Places under criterion A because of its association with events that have made a significant contribution to the broad patterns of our history, and in particular because its origins and development reflect the contours of settlement and social development of Jackson Hole. Indeed, by following the history of the Flat Creek Ranch the various contexts of local development – early settlement, dud ranching, the emergence of hobby ranches and retreats by outside owners – take a concrete form. The ranch formed a representative and key determining element in transforming Jackson Hole from an isolated ranching valley to a haven for outsides, especially for the nation’s elite seeking remote sanctuary.
The buildings of the Flat Creek Ranch are in each instance original, dating from construction in the early 1920s.
My lovely big bed, the picture is a bit missleading makes the room look smaller than it is. The photoes on the wall (left) are of when I walked the west highland way.
After one of the worse days at work, the car decides to get in on the act. At least it waited until all the timber was out.

For some reason I stood by traffic lights on a busy road risking cars throwing water at me from big puddles to take this. I think it's the stair-well, it reminds me of those at school.
Rainshower and full length mirrored storage unit on the left. You can't see it cause the shower screen is misted up, but the mixer tap is in the middle of the wall above the bath. So you don't have to bend over, or get sprayed with cold water when you turn it on. It's the little things!
MASS MoCA has an amusing gift shop- I thought this would be great for my dorm, but couldn't justify 8 bucks for a piece of cardboard that really isn't super cute.
I knew the family that lived here, their son escaped from National Service...but the redcaps found him and took him back.
