A flashlight just like this was stolen from my car at the apartment parking lot in spring 2003. The thief broke the front passenger glass just to steal a flashlight.
We went to Target and the flashlight cupboard was bare.
Three or four weeks before Ike came through I bought two new flashlights and two new rechargeable nightlights. Not sure what prompted me to do that but I was very glad I had made those purchases and wasn't actually hoping to buy something in this aisle.

This is the first time I've taken my dslr out of it's bag in 2011. I've been taking pictures with my powershot, but just never had the time or desire to take my d70 out. As far as this photo goes, I took my camera out to test other remotes I have just out of curiosity and maybe boredom. Haha. Since it had my 35mm f1.8 lens on, I decided to take some low light photos of the crap that I have lying around on or in my desk. This is the best one. Playing with my two flashlights. I am posting it mostly because I wanted to write, and I guess just to post something since it's been forever.
